I laugh when I hear people say things like, “suicide is never an answer. You should talk. Be more open. You should share your feelings. Kiss my bum, etc.” If you so firmly say suicide isn’t the answer, do you know what the question was? Do you ever even wonder about it??
Because, people who say these things are the same ones who laugh at you when you open up. Stinking hypocrisy!! No wonder it is still a taboo topic in our society. They believe you when you say there’s a ghost. But they don’t believe if you say you feel depressed.
Suicide is the outcome, not the answer of the victim. It’s the end stage of the disease called depression. **It is how the victims answer to their problem/illness**. Nobody takes away their life on a whim. Everybody wants to live. But think of what forces them to take such a step. Be more empathic!!
*Depression isn’t a joke. It is real. Words can’t cure it. It needs medical attention!!*
How to be more empathic?? Talk about these subjects oftentimes. Stop being mean to one another. Share constructive criticism. Be truthful to yourself.
And to people who feel/are depressed, I’ve got nothing new to tell you guys. I won’t be there for you. You’ll be on your own. Seek medical attention. It’s a disease, not any taboo. Speak about it. And believe me; tomorrow, there will be sunshine! Just live to see it. ‘CAUSE IT’S WORTH IT!!
What Do You Think When You Are Alone?
I think of so many things when I am alone. I think about what happened that day, some incidents about the past, and how to face the future. Then I realize that the past is already gone why waste time thinking about that. The future is yet to come and nobody knows what happens tomorrow. Instead of suffering past and future, I decide to live in the present moment and enjoy my alone moments.
I can do so many things!!!
It is a rare opportunity to be alone at home for a working woman and mother of 2 kids. Whenever I get such rare moments in my life, I love to do so many things.
I would just sit and watch old Hindi songs on youtube (I love Lata Mangeshkar and Mohd.Rafi songs). I call my friends and talk to them in peace. Read my favorite books. I don't cook when I am alone, I will order something on Swiggy. Feel lazy and relax the whole day. I genuinely deserve to dedicate some time to myself in this busy life.

In our childhood, addiction meant smoking, alcohol, and drugs. Now this generation youngsters are getting addicted to Smartphones which is far more dangerous. For the addictions of smoking and alcohol, they need a time and a place. Cell phone addiction can go on for 24 hrs a day even without getting noticed.
It is a serious problem and parents should be worried about it because smartphones are so ubiquitous that managing your teen behavior is also problematic. According to a survey a teen is tethered to his smartphone at least 8-10 hours a day. When is he doing other important activities in his life?
With more and more apps, games, social media, a teenager is hooked up to his smartphone beyond talking and texting. The brain reacts to the ringing and alerts as if it were a drug. Like any other addiction, it is very difficult to stop. The teenager will not know when and where to stop.
Here comes the role of parents. They should take up measures to get their teenagers out of this obsession with cell phones. They can try these methods:
Cut off your kids data plan and give them limited Internet access
Keep strict timings for phone usage and follow them. Simply making rules and not following them does not help
Never link up the phone to studies. Never say "If you study for one hour, I will give you the phone for 30 mins". Then it will seem to them that studying is punishment.
Try to postpone buying a smartphone as long as you can. Give them a basic phone.

Take away the phone at the night. You have to implement this strictly. No phone Zone from night 10 p.m to morning at 7 a.m. I know it is difficult, but sometimes we have to keep your foot down.

And more than one or two....thousand of thoughts have come to my mind, but all of it told me to run away, that this wasn't the real side of the world.

So when you first told me you love me, I just stared at you....with all these thoughts going through my mind, I wondered if you do. And it took me a while to silence all my thoughts and to finally tell you that...I love you too. Because I do.
