CRUELLA movie is coming and many people comparing it with JOKER (2019). Definitely they will, if you bring out this type of movie in these days. But there is a difference between Cruella and Joker. Emma Stone's Cruella is not a Joker but a serial killer. Yes! Disney's PG-13 serial killer. She kills dogs and use their skin to make clothes. But how she became a serial killer? maybe due to the torture of the society ? like Joker? Let's find out.

As I said that maybe it's the society who will force Cruella to be a serial killer, like how Arthur Fleck turns into Joker. But I think this would not be a sudden change. If you ever watched Netflix's MINDHUNTER series then you probably know that a classic psychopath criminal have certain qualities. For example, they are assertive. Means they are loud and clear about their opinions. They are unconscious, disagreeable and in some certain cases, they are mentally ill. You can't make them scared.

I actually disagree the method of psychometrics measurements. You use psychometrics to measure someone's mental state, behavior or clinical construct. I don't think this source is always accurate and reliable because different individuals have different qualities but the test is same. The criminals we see in pop culture or in Mindhunter, we can say that some of them are dumbass and some of them are extremely extra intelligent which can easily mislead the test.

The instinct which make someone to kill others doesn't hit someone suddenly. Mostly, criminals do violence starting from the animals. A serial killer in Mindhunter says that most of the cruelty and insanity of a criminal starts from animals. They torture animals, kill them and bury them somewhere. This thing slowly goes extreme and they start doing the same with humans. And the character like Cruella is starting from the animals too.

The question is..... "why?" Joker had some reasons to do that. But Cruella is sexy and glamorous as well as crossing every extent of violence. To understand this I give you a point and that is:

Gini Coefficient

Gini Coefficient is actually a terms use in economics. Some people call it Gini Ratio or Gini Index too.

The Gini index, or Gini coefficient, is a measure of the distribution of income across a population developed by the Italian statistician Corrado Gini in 1912. It is often used as a gauge of economic inequality, measuring income distribution or, less commonly, wealth distribution among a population.

Remember, this index is not use to measure absolute wealth or absolute poverty. This index is use to measure relative poverty. Which means if a society or nation have great number of Rich then this nation has low relative poverty and if a nation has a great number of poor then this nation has again low relative poverty.

You are probably thinking that what GINI Coefficient have to do with crime? But actually there is a connection between these two. A heavy connection. Surprisingly we can use this index to know that where the crime is happening more. Maybe some of you are thinking that ofcours crime will be more in a society where absolute poverty is high and wealth is low. But... No, because crime will be low where wealth distribution is impartially equal.

Similarly, a nation where a group of some people are extremely rich and on the other side there are a great number of poor, then there crime will increase substantially. Because this is a consequence of competition.

But again, is "inequality" a reason that character like Cruella become violent? From the trailer we can judge that she is poor, fired from job, work at other's houses and feel jealous of Rich and thinks how unequal they are. Or other reason of being violent is resentment. I think this would be a fundamental political question that " inequality OR resentment is a cause of violence?"

In case of Cruella, it is clear that she has charming anger. Which means she is full of anger but unhappy. That's why she uses violence to attain a status in society. Joker never wanted any status in society. He just wanted to show how different and unique he is from other. But Cruella uses destruction to attain a status in the society. We have seen in the trailer that how destructively she introduced herself in the party.

Her extra ordinary fashion which makes her outstanding. She feels attracted. But how far she can go? She would be more destructive or she would change her approach. Just like political series "House Of Cards". You want a status? If you use destruction then world will be against you. To answer this, Francis Underwood says: If you don't like the Table that how it is decorated then turn the Table.

So Cruella will be more destructive and extreme until her pain and inconceivable suffering increases to the extent where she wouldn't bear that again.
