Welcome to this fourth article of my Blog 'The Chronicles of the Modern Man'
I wish you a better year than the previous one. As we all know, we have all suffered on different levels
And this is not going to get any better in the coming months!
Do you know how useful Social Media can be in these times of crisis? (I'm talking about Social Media and not Social Networks)
First of all:
Social Media allows us to keep ourselves informed about news other than what we hear on the Radio, read in Newspapers, see on TV, but also about News App, or Social Networks …
I am not saying that we are tired of all this endless media hype (Covid-19, Pandemic, Virus, Mutant, Deaths, Vaccines, job losses, blah blah ...), it is important and primordial to stay informed.
But what about the news that really interests us? Why doesn't the 'PRESS' tell us about Cryptocurrencies? It is however a whole world in full effervescence! Cryptocurrencies has just surpassed $1,000 Billion in Market Capitalization! And the Press doesn't think it is necessary to talk about it?
In that case, let's go get the information where it is. Let's get it from the Social Media. Because people, like you and me, are doing their best to bring you relevant, interesting information, and also a lot of things to learn.
The World of Cryptos is so vast and the News changes every day, that it is just as important to keep informed, because in Life there is not only the Covid!
Secondly:
Almost every government in the world imposes rules on us:
Wear a mask
Respect the barrier gestures
No more than X people in one room/house
Curfew - Quarantines
And much more, I'm not going to quote them all.
While on Social Media you can :
Do not wear Masks
You are far enough away physically to take no risks.
On the Social Media you can be Thousands or Millions of people in the same place, in complete safety.
Internet and Cryptos, it's a 24/7 activity, no Curfews
Thirdly:
Then our social interactions are reduced to their strictest minimum. Social Media allows you to EXPRESS YOURSELF! Then use them
The less we have the possibility to communicate in our lives outside the net, the less we want to communicate on the net, why? I can't understand that considering the world situation, people like you and me, who spend more time on Social Media than anywhere else, are appalled at the poverty of communication on them!
It should be the opposite. You should be happy to see that the world does not revolve around this Pandemic (although it governs a large part of our daily lives), the world is vast, beautiful things happen every day. Crypto's news changes every day, it's a bottomless well of knowledge and sharing, so why settle for a simple 'OK' or 'Thank you', or even worse → a Smiley!
We need to open our eyes, our lifestyles have changed profoundly, and why can't we adapt ourselves too? - Communication is one of the pillars of our Humanity, why deny it?
When you read an article or a post that interests you (you don't have to read everything that is posted) why can't you post a comment of more than 2-3 words? Has it become so complicated to communicate in a civilized way?

Did you know that ... Here are a few things that you might have missed in the last few days, weeks, which are just as many topics that can spark interest or debate:
Did you know that there is a Centillionaires Club? And yes! I am pleased to announce that at least 5 people on Earth have surpassed the 100 Billion personal Fortune milestone (Bezos, Musk, Gates, Zuckerberg, Arnault).
Did you know that the fortune of the 500 richest people in the world increased by $1800 billion in 2020?
Did you know that a Chilean Start-up invented a plastic bag, without plastic, by replacing petrol with a Limestone Substrate, which disintegrates in water. Or a French Start-up has developed a plastic-eating enzyme to reduce Pollution.
Did you know that if the Cement Industry was a country, it would be the 3rd biggest polluter on the planet?
Did you know that Ethereum has become Ethereum 2.0, allowing ETH Staking!
Did you know that every day new Social Media platforms appear, and all of them bring you continuous information? (Crypto or not)
Did you know that Elon Musk became the richest man in the world? Surfing on the Wave of Crypto News
….
Fifthly:
While millions of people on earth have lost their jobs, or seen their salaries reduced, it becomes difficult to 'survive'.
But if you take the time to read what is posted on the Social Media, you could learn a lot about how to earn a little more money, on the net and through Cryptos (BE CAREFUL! I'm not talking about Airdrop or Faucet!) There are incredible ways to earn a small passive income, depending on what you are looking for.
With Staking, you deposit PoS Coins/Tokens on a Staking Platform or a Staking Wallet, and it generates interest every day, for as long as you wish.
Blogging, can also bring you a form of income, the more you work, the more you will have the chance to earn cryptos.
Participating in the development of communities or projects can also allow you to win Cryptos
