Blockchain Technologies are more and more present in our daily life:

  • Cryptocurrencies

  • Banks

  • Insurance

  • Large Companies

  • Supply chains

But it doesn't stop there, and more importantly, it's not going to stop there any time soon!

I'm going to introduce you to BrainiacChess, and its native cryptocurrency Chess Coin (CHESS).

As you may have understood, we talk about the Chess Universe, but let's start with a small reminder of its History:

The Origins of the Chess game go back to about 1500 years, in Persia, and Chess as we know it today comes from Europe, and dates from the 15th century

It was only in the 19th century that the first tournaments/championships appeared, as well as the birth of the FIDE (World Chess Federation).

FIDE announces the number of 600 Million chess players in the world (including 360 000 Tournament Players), but others would rather announce 1 Billion (see more), but it's impossible to verify and prove these statistics because the enthusiasm for the game is so huge, which makes chess one of the most popular games in the world, and has been for hundreds of years.

What can BrainiacChess do for you/us?

In order to understand this, you have to identify the current problems.

In a world where everything is centralised, we systematically need a (trusted) Third Party, who guarantees or supervises, in this case the financial institutions. Let's take the case of International online tournaments, which usually gather Millions of people, when these tournaments are over, it is necessary to proceed to the sending of the rewards, for the winners, so these winners have to give confidential informations (Paypal address, Bank details, Postal address, Name and First names ...) which poses a serious problem of privacy (which makes some people reluctant), but who says "International" also says that the winners can be scattered all over the world, which also poses a big problem, because depending on the country (where the winner lives and wishes to receive his rewards) there are heavy bank charges to take into account, as well as the processing time of a relatively long bank transfer.

This is how BrainiacChess stands out, using Blockchain Technology.

  • First of all, the Blockchain is decentralized, so there is no need for a trusted third party.

  • The Blockchain ensures anonymity, so there is no need to share personal and/or confidential information.

  • The costs and especially the speed of the reward transfer (in the form of CHESS) are drastically reduced, to the point that a CHESS transfer is done in minutes (instead of days).

  • A betting system managed by Smart Contracts instead of people, which automates transactions.

CHESS is not just a reward Cryptocurrency, it can also be used for :

  • Pay Tournament Registration

  • Rewarding Tournament Winners

  • To be shared easily between members

  • Making purchases

  • Bet

  • To be converted into fiat currency

Based on FIDE's statistics, 600 Million players in the world, if we deduct 360 000 tournament players, this may imply that there are more than 599 Million amateur playersBrainiacChess can finally offer them the opportunity to earn money by combining the pleasure of playing.

According to the Raodmap, Q1 2020 BrainiacChess will launch its own dApp (but who knows, maybe we'll have the surprise to discover it this month or next month or possibly in March), and allow people to participate in tournaments worldwide, with a reward system but also Peer to Peer Betting.

In the meantime, you can take the opportunity to get some CHESS (which will allow you to register for these upcoming tournaments, among other things) on the exchanges:

You also have the possibility to win some CHESS by being active on the BrainiacChess Channel Telegram.

While waiting for the launch of their dApp, some people (or even you can) organize bets while playing on lichess.org, under the supervision of the administrators, at least 2 people have to set an amount to bet, then send their share to an administrator of the Channel Telegram (via the Tip function), and at the end of the game, the administrator sends (via the Tip function) 100% of the reward to the winner (as soon as the dApp is launched, all this will be automated through Smart Contracts)

In the current 2020 many more features and projects will be proposed, but for the moment I won't tell you more about them
