I still can't breathe

One of the problems we humans have is that we get all excited and sometimes emotional whenever a problem arises to the extent that we forget the root cause of the problem and focus only on getting the problem solved. If you solve a problem and fail to tackle the cause, sooner or later the problem will rise again or a bigger problem even.

It surprises me that George Floyd's case is still in court even after he has died and been buried, everybody is after "justice for George Floyd" but no one is advocating for the living who still face similar things that led to his death. His family has received millions upon millions of dollars, but is that the solution?

Derek Chauvin is still breathing freely because he knows that he won't get capital punishment for killing a citizen that he swore to protect with his life, George Floyd's only crime was his skin colour

Even if Derek Chauvin is sentenced to death by hanging or by any other means, will it change the way white supremacists see the black race? If you asked the late Floyd, his most probable answer will be "I still can't breathe" because white policemen are still profiling blacks for nothing, blacks are still being maltreated and killed all over the world just because of their skin colour

As far as I know, white supremacists are enjoying the unfair treatment that the black race is getting, if not, they would have put an end to racism, yes, they know what to do if they want to stop it

Racial abuse is one of the biggest problems we have in the world today yet nobody takes it seriously unless somebody dies and gets attention, then the white supremacists will play politics with it and life goes on, the root causes are still there, untouched, unscratched. So who is deceiving who?

Recently, the former French and arsenal player, Thiery Henry announced that he's leaving all the social media platforms because he was being racially abused. As big and significant as he is in world football, Thiery Henry is being racially abused, then who is safe?

I know that it's not all whites that are racist, some of them are good and campaign with the black race against racism, but the racists among them are unrelenting and unrepentant about it because strict measures have not been put in place to punish or checkmate racists, and the black race don't seem serious about the whole thing

The only time that black people speak up or act against racial abuse or white supremacy is when someone dies or when they're directly affected in one way or the other. If only every black will speak with one loud voice and mean it because an injury to one is an injury to all. Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere. Racism has been in existence since the time of Martin Luther King, and it will continue to thrive because the right things are not being done

If a sitting president of a democratic country could reject and deny WTO president-elect because of her skin colour, it speaks volumes and goes to show that the fight against racism and supremacism is far from being won. No single race can rule the world alone without the help of others, it is not possible. God that made us different isn't stupid to have made it so. Let every black withdraw from sports, especially football then you'll see how uninteresting sports can become.

Every race is important, none is superior to the other and none can thrive without the other. Say no to racism and supremacism. Let love lead

Hello good morning I found your article thanks to the me that made @heartbeat1515.

I like your whole approach and I feel that it's the truth.

God made everything in balance and if racism exists is so that we learn to live with the difference. We humans believe we are the superior race and our actions speak for us.

We lack humanity to accept difference and love it, thank you for your article. @Chrismariae 🙋🏽‍♀️

Thanks so much @soyunasantacruz for your kind words, I'm glad that my article finally gets attention. I've been writing since 2020 but no one notices my articles. Thanks to you and @heartbeat1515 I left the platform for sometime now thinking that my account is faulty. But I'm encouraged to start writing again
