Why public Universities?
With current situation going on in the educational sector of Nigeria, public universities are soon to become cemeteries of reading and writing materials, Lecture halls and Laboratories for bats, bird and other creatures to partying day and night . As public primary and secondary schools are now history, universities too are about to follow their footsteps.
FG and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) failed to reach a stands that will send the students back to their respective universities to continue with their studies.

Its been Seven months since ASUU embarked on strike with all force, which led to the total shut down of Nigerian Public Universities within the nation. Hence, No means of slowing down. Although, several of meetings have been conducted between the two conflicting bodies, yet all efforts made still remain futile.
Despite the ups and downs in trying to reach an agreement that will bring the Nigerian Students back to their respective Universities, ASUU and FG end up in court.
After so many deliberation in court; a before yesterday, Court has finally ordered ASUU to suspend the ongoing strike that longed for over 7month and to return to their working places respectively with immediate effect. Up to now, ASUU haven’t release any official statements of their stance over the court’s decision.
As a Victim of this drama, with just less than two months for me to graduate, I pray this will be the last episode it.
