$200 cash assitance for the super typhoon oddette victims

December 16,2021 a strong typhoon named oddette devastated of some parts of our country and we are one of the most affected of that super typhoon.

Our house was'nt able to scape the whipped of the said super typhoon.Well,I can claim that its our house as my father inlaw gave that house to us.

It just only made of a light materials but a lot of typhoons was passed but still it remained standing and super typhoon oddette destroyed it.

Our house was been listed to a totally damaged in our barangay list after they had a survey for the residence property in our barangay.

We recieved 5k pesos or $80 as a cash assistance after that calamity.I guess it takes a month before they gave that cash assistance.After a few weeks or months ,we recieved 4peices of sen(roof).

Aside of that ,we recieved also some reliefgoods times I guess,a can goods and rice from the government.

Last year if I am not mistaken ,it was september when my husband was called from our barangay official to fill up a form to get a cash assitance.We waited for a month and we are dissapointed because it seems that they are quite for that.

After how many months we heard about that and they said that those totally damaged house will recieve worth of 10pesos or $200.

Honestly I don't want to expect about it coz it makes me feel disapoint if it will not happened.

A lot of times I heard from our mariteses neighborhood but I don't believe it anymore coz it did'nt happen.

The thypoon happenend last December 2021 and we are on 2023 and still we did'nt recieve that cash assitance they said.I said to my self that we needed to find and work hard so that we can have money for our house and hindi nalang aasa sa ganyan.

But last week ,my husband was called again and presented his id and signing the form from dswd and they said that June 18 is the pay out day for the cash assitance.

I am so happy and blessed coz it such a great help for us.

We are thankful that we are one of those who recieved $200 or 10k pesos coz the other residence here recieved the half amount of what we recieved from the government.

I and my husband talk about our plan for the house ,we needed some materials for the beam and it estimated to 12k pesos plus the roof materials.

I suggested that we used the money to buy some materials for the beam but my husband plan is to fully pay it from the money we lend from the bank and lend again(in other bank which having a little interest from the bank we lend a money)worth 30k pesos .Maybe it enough for the roofing of our house.

And after that we will save again for tge doors and windows.

I am praying that by next year or even this year we can finish our house.
