Pegaxy New Update: Good or Bad?

Last night, Pegaxy Official reveal the new update for today and most of the users are disappointed. So what's new about the update and why most of the users are not happy with it?

This is one of the biggest update that Pegaxy has implemented and while I'm writing this article it is now live.

Fusion

Fusion is their new burning mechanics in the game and it is quite pricey for small investors. With fusion, you can combine your two pega (nft) to create a new high rarity pega (nft).

Pegaxy Breed Types

• Pacer

• Rare

• Epic

• Legendary

Example:

If you combine the two pacer you will get a rare one. In order to do this, you need to pay an exact amount of VIS (reward token) and PGX (Governance Token).

As you can see in the info graphics, it is too pricey for a small investor. If you enter this game lately, I can say that it hurts so much. Just like me, I entered at 8 Pesos and bought some pacers and I don't have ROI yet.

Also, if you fuse two of your pegas, you will get a new breed count no matter the breed count of your two pegas.

So what are the benefits that you can get if you fuse your pegas?

Each breed type has a new prize pool, so if you want to earn more VIS you really need to fuse your pegas if they are not performing well.

As you can see, you can get better rewards the higher the rarity of your pega.

But be careful because fusing will not guarantee you a good pega. there is still a chance that you will get a bad pega because the stats will randomize.

Racing Lobby

Each breed type have their own lobby. What does it mean? It means that all pacer will compete each other and the same with other breed type. So if you have a good pacer, you don't need to fuse them because you will likely win all the time. Fusion is just an option for a bad performing pega and there is no point of upgrading it if it's performing well.

So is it good or bad?

Few months ago, VIS (Reward Token) pump so hard and all are happy. But after a couple of weeks, its starting to fall hard. Why? People are scared and they starting to sell their VIS due to falling of the VIS price. As time goes by, a lot of people keep coming to invest in the game. Then, the minting of VIS is getting higher and higher.

The population of pega is rising as well especially "Pacers". In order to have a sustainability of the token, the root of the over minting of VIS will need to minimize. What is it? Your Pegas. So Pegaxy Official is trying to save the game with these updates.

If they don't do that, the price of VIS will just fall and fall and the game will die. For me these update is great for some reason because it will keep the game alive and will have a sustainable economy. But small investors will be the one who have high impact with this because they don't have money to reinvest to fuse their bad pegas. with the new prize pool its hard to earn enough VIS to upgrade your pegas.

So for me, it is bad for small investors and it is good for Big guilds that has huge capital to upgrade their pegas.

I am affected as well but you enter this game with risk. Only invest what you can afford to lose as always.
