This leads to emergence of electric-powered devices and the electricity become possible to use in industry. Next, the first light bulb was also invented by Thomas Edison together with the British scientist, Joseph Swan. Edison used direct-current system to light the first New York electric street lamps. Then, soon the discovery of alternating current by Nikola Tesla is accepted. Another inventions that come into light includes: the first purely electronic television by Philo Farnsworth, radar and radiolocation, computers, transistors, microprocessors, satellites (then it was modernized), internet protocol, and optical fiber. Soon enough, the way we enjoy it now, Wi-Fi is discovered alongside with smart phones and space exploration. The future of Electric Engineering will surely become more advanced, for example availability of holographic display in a flexible smartphone, drones, smartwatch and others. Due to these achievements, electrical engineers will be able to collaborate across industries.
