Part 1
Hiš I decided to share with you some stories that was told to me, this happened for real. Stories that lead to someone to a danger zone.
Lost Child
Back when my sister (3rd older sister) was five years old (about 23 years ago) she was lost for about a half day. This story was told by my father when he was alive and of course by my sister, we almost talk about it every time it crossed our minds. So the story starts when she and her playmate named Camille went out to play. My sister lied to my mom that sheāll just come down to pee (lying will do no good haha so donāt lie). They walked until they reached one church in Baclaran, which is too far from our house. It was Sunday and a lot of people came to church for the mass, as the mass ended people starts coming out of the church so Camille and my sister got separated. From the memory of my sister, she doesnāt feel like sheās lost. It feels like sheās still walking and playing and she doesnāt mind the number of people around. As her memory suggests, she can remember those palamig (juice) vendors, and the smell of Dunkinā Donuts linger around making her attempt to cross the diversion. Before, my mom taught them that they should never cross the road if a lot of vehicles pass by, and since she felt like the vehicles seems to come without a stop, she remained standing at the side.
As soon as my mother realized that my sister who asked her permission to pee hasnāt come back yet, she tried looking for her at the first floor and outside near our house. She canāt go that far because my fourth sister is still a baby and my 2 oldest sisters are not at home yet. (yes, Iām the youngest and Iām not alive back then) When my dad knew that my sister was missing he ask for everyone in the neighborhood if they saw my sister. Until the police have found Camille, they said that the child was crying real hard that caught their attention. My father asked about my sister but the police saw Camille all alone. Imagine how afraid and frustrated my father was back then, he became restless plus its growing dark.
My sister is not crying but just observing around. The next thing she knew is two boys older than her is walking with her and she saw my father with a red face running towards her. My father immediately grabbed my sister and gave all his money and when I said all I mean it, the money that he gained from that day from driving his tricycle and selling ice, he gave it to these young saviors.
Funny that after 13 years that she was lost and then found, she then again leaves our house for four days. My mom was crying every day, every hour or even a second. My dad keeps on looking for her, and then they found her, she went home with my mom and my dad and with the news that sheās having a baby. The disappointment is of course there, but every baby is a blessing. Now our family was blessed with one beautiful niece and one handsome nephew both are really smart. My sister was once, twice lost and even if sheāll be lost a hundred times; I know sheāll always find her way back home.
