How You Left

Stench of face blindness overpowering memories.

Worms of confusion slithering through my bones.

Slurped by scattered knots of obscure icon.

Sweet sensation smoldering muddled distinction.

Tainted schema of lineaments and silhouette.

Strange indelible ink of smile, audacious caress, and movement of lips.

Idiosyncratic scent admonishing thumping heart.

Reigning vague hints chasing oblivious tracks.

Like playing tag of war between reminisce and overlook.

Guilt-ridden hiding from unknown past like scribbles.

Vicious, slammed the bedroom door behind and fled.

Drunken heart, love remained untold reaching echoes of wounded name called “You”.

When it is time for someone to leave, he leaves without any reason to leave. I liked reading the article very much, but it is a very beautiful article

I am not able to feel the emotion inside this poem, could you help me through? I want to know what are you trying to say, perhaps @wakeupkitty can understand this better than me.

From your title, I can think that this is how it felt being left behind.

To me this poem sounds like the scattered soul, the chaos inside, feelings, thoughts popping up, fighting for attention and nothing makes sense. Not being left behind. Chaos is what I read although it's not total chaos if I read this. If that would be the case it wouldn't be written in this way. It's not written at the moment of being left but later by a broken heart that might not even be broken any longer. It somehow misses something. The last 5-4 sentences do not fit to the rest. The only one who might be able to explain this to you is the writer. I miss the catching part too, it's not an attractive read to me.
