Hello Folks

Welcome To My Blog🤗,

As the globe evolves today, cultural behaviors, archaic lifestyle, traditional paths, and civilization walk in the light of technology.

I recalled vividly those times during my college days, there was nothing compared to the swift change in technology modifying education in every area today. The comparison of then and now played out a huge difference and impact on students including myself. With the improvement of technical gadgets like computers, Tablets, smartphones, mechanical wristwatches, laptops, cameras, microphone/public address systems, electronic whiteboards, and projectors; classrooms are much more convenient and comfortable for the students to assimilate pedagogy.

With the whole advent of civilization, the world will forever continue to culminate to make life and learning much easier. In the outgrowth of the COVID-19 virus, a means of learning was implemented “Online Education” and it became the norm. Forums like zoom meetings, Google classroom, and so forth were created so that students won't be taken aback by their studies.

It was much easier and extremely helpful for me as a student. During my first university program, we were almost two hundred students and when a lecturer commences a lecture it becomes hard for most people at the end to understand or even grasp what was being thought. At a time, we contributed collectively and got a public address system to help spread the lecture going on, and ever since then, no one complained about not hearing.

Certain areas of schooling require the usage of these gadgets and if they eventually are omitted, many systems would be out of balance. Pieces of information would no longer be passed to students in groups and so many aspects would be difficult. I'm a big fan of using laptops to do basic projects and assignments in school and it was worthwhile.

DID THOSE GADGETS CONSTITUTE A DISTRACTION?

Firstly, I must say this! There's time for everything. Once your mind is focused on something try as much as possible to finish off that task before anything else. These technical appliances can cause a distraction that's only when you allow it. Of course, it can bring about minor distractions but overwhelming yourself would make it worse.

The internet can be quite tricky! I'm sure most of us have fallen victim to it several times. Imagine coming to your computer or phone to check something out which is an assignment only to find yourself digging into social media accounts, facebook-ing, Whatsapp-ing, Twitter-ing, and Instagram-ing instead of researching for your projects! I'm sure you know this! If you give yourself a reason to be distracted, surely you would be distracted.

And what do YOU THINK IS THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION CONCERNING TECHNOLOGY IN YOUR OPINION?

Well, Technology has come to stay because without it the world would be in a complicated form where everything has to be manually done like imagining traveling a long distance to deliver mail rather than sending it over the internet to the recipient.

Technology in the future of education would birth an increase in creativity in all forms, give rise to a better generation, give rise to a comfortable and standard environment, also shape individuals' mentality, and ultimately provide online jobs for students.

Hopefully in the near future robot teachers will be the ones teaching students but let's hope it doesn't come to that yet because it has its benefits and detriments.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, if you have anything to contribute to this? Drop it in the comment section let's dialogue...

I agree that we are our own enemies when it comes to technology. If used properly great benefits can come from it.

When one channels their energy into it distraction would be something very easy to walk away from. Thank You:D for your appreciative comment..

Technology is like a double edged sword. If used properly it can help you... if not, it can hurt you.

Exactly that's correct! That's why it's important that we balance the importance of both of them. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate you🤗
