Martyr: The Cost Sunk Fallacy `March 28, 2022 - Monday 10:30 PM` Growing up, I always adore people that I have seen from an innocent and young kid's perspective strong and independent individuals. For me, during those days of my life, I wanted to be like them. It gives me chills on the inside before by just picturing out on my brain while putting myself in their positions and wearing their shoes without knowing and thinking how hard it is to be like them.

As the years gone by and with aged, experiences teaches me to think twice or thrice before I react on anything that I saw and want, wether it is good or bad. In short, I can confidently say that I am more mature now unlike before. But still, there are situations that we may encounter along the way of life from time to time that we think it's out of our control but we are just blinded by the truth of it. Now, I'm ending that long fussing intro chill'hustler's and let's all jump straight to main chunk of experience I'm going to openly share it to y'all chill'hustler's. The Cost Sunk Effect As a proud Filipino myself, these thing called being "**Martyr**" is just a common and normal word to call someone, especially those who are in a relationship or even married one's because we Filipinos easily gets attached to anything we went through, what we have and what we experienced. We take pride in pushing the things that we think is right for as long as it makes us happy which is good but not thinking of what awaits after it. When we treasure someone or anything that comes to our lives and treat it as valuable, that's also the time we make ourselves vulnerable and expose to be hurt in return or even sunk our own boat which will hinder us to further move forward. This certain situation is called the "**The Cost Sunk Effect**" or commonly known and called by others as "**The Cost Sunk Fallacy**. This idea is the short term for someone seeing beforehand what lies ahead because he/she already invested time, money and effort without even thinking that this may lead to them being on the negative end because their is no more or not enough positive to gain with and sometimes may lead to uncontrolled decision makings. The Common Types of Fallacy Fallacy is happening in our day to day lives, from what we eat or to whom we end the night with. It is too broad and that knowing this now is a must and a big help for all of us to be aware of what we are currently battling each day to move forward.

*Below are the list of common fallacy that I think most of us is currently dealing with in our daily lives chill'hustler's.* **Holding On To People** **Following The Latest Trend** **Expensive Dining** All of these fallacy are crucial to our happiness chill'hustler's so we must pay attention to all of this now. **Holding on to People** - the more we spend time together with people the more we get attach to them, either friend or special someone which may lead us to having a hard time cutting them off even if they can no longer give us good in return. **Following The Latest Trend** - most of our lifestyles now are based on what we saw on the internet especially in this modern and current era of gadgets that are popping from almost all corners in our society or even the luxurious vehicles, shoes, jewelries and clothes that we want to wear and have. This fallacy is very common because later on the value of these things depreciates with time and also the value of these things to us changes too. **Expensive Dining** - same with social trend's, dining out today is very common nowadays for us to experience and have something to post and update with on our social media accounts. But, in the end, when we buy some expensive foods we lose control and usually ended up eating all of eat even though we're already full because it is costly enough to be wasted.

These are just some of many to write on with but I choose these because I think it's more relatable now chill'hustler's. Final Thoughts At the end of the day, we should all be mindful with our decisions in life, wether it is costly or not, out of control or controllable and most of all beneficial to our growth or not, we should never neglect the small things that could save us from any unbearable heartaches and problems along the way as we move forward with our lives. Don't get me all wrong chill'hustler's, these are just the things I thought more relatable and it is still up to us what to do with our own individual decisions in life that we think of as satisfying. No matter what happens, just always remember where to dock our boat up and learn to repair the damage in which we could sail our own boat's again to new destinations with a brand new goal and radar in life. Let's all hold the helm of our lives as responsible as we could and we may discover and conquered all our heart's desire chill'hustler's...!!!
