A New Found Habit: Meditation And It's Importance
November 13, 2022 | Sunday, 03:40 PM
One night while I was lying in bed thinking about some good habit's to add to myself, I bump into a an interesting post of a friend of mine on my socials. Then, I did a little research about it and watch some tutorials. The next morning chill'hustlers, before I knew it, I was already doing it.
Now enough for the bubbling intro and let me share this amazing found habit of mine that I'm currently loving the benefits of it.
A New Found Habit
Living in the City is a stressful one, especially like me who only commutes to reach my workplace. From my home to my workplace is a three ride of Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ. Four hours of my daily working days are allotted just for commuting adding to it a little time spare for extra traffic. At first it was just okay fore, but when the face to face class was announced, the heavy traffic also returns in the roads.
Commuting everyday was exhausting, so I found a habit to get away from all of this. I found out meditation helps a lot when it comes to destressing.
At first, I tried meditating at dawn once I wake up every morning for just five minutes. Then, after a week of doing it, I felt very good. So, I continue doing it, with a longer time allotted from twenty to thirty minutes in the morning, depending on my time of waking up.
Meditation And It's Importance
Meditation for me is just relaxation for our mind from whatever our brain are processing all day. That prolong breathing and feeling of being at peace while having a quick escape from realities and not worrying anything else. I can't explain really into words the feeling of it but it's really good and self boosting.
The importance of meditation is to make not loss focus on whatever we are doing, especially when we are too problematic and down, just try meditating and I can guarantee you, it's really helpful.
Benefits of Meditation
Meditation comes with a lot of benefits. Based on my personal experience soo far, it helps me with my irregular sleeping problems. It also helps me a lot in dealing with my temper, because I'm a short tempered in person. Most especially to my health, it makes me feel more alive and connected to our beautiful earth. Because when we meditate, it's like we want to absorb all the good and positive energy in our sorrounding. In this way, we feel recharged.
If you're a talkative type of person, especially at work and starts to meditate, you'll be amaze once you try meditating and experience that span of time wherein you are not opening your mouth. It's unexplainable for me, cause I'm a proud talkative person in person too. Hehe
In Conclusion
Once we meditate chill'hustlers, we are practicing to see our own selves while our eyes are closed. It's like our souls comes out and looking at our own physical body and during this time, you'll find yourself in a more calming state. Meditation is more fun with nature music like a running river sound, a wave crushing on the shore or a birds tweeting.
All of what I have share above are just my experiences chill'hustlers and I'm planning to even up it a notch to formally indulge in real Yoga in the future. I'll just try my best to keep on doing it while I'm still really into it as of present.
In meditation, I found my peace and ended my little alcohol addiction. It may has different benefits depending on the person doing it, but it's really worth it and rewarding for me. Those twenty to thirty minutes a day is not wasted for nothing. Now, I feel more alive even though I'm dealing with a pile of problems but still carrying the best out of it.
To formally end this, it's one of those thing's that I'm currently doing wherein I can genuinely say, I'm happy and love doing it. Because, it makes me feel more alive in this amazing world we live in.
