DAY 27 Poem about **Disease** Do you remember those times?💭 When we played rhymes?🎤 With friends and family together?👨👩👧👦 The times when we all had fun together?⛹🏽🤼♂️ And the times when we'd always prayed for holidays?🙏🏽 A virus is steading through our land,🦠 Separating us from the warm feeling of our friend's hand,🤗 And socially distancing us away from our Dreamland.💭 So while I smile when I see you,😊 I may not shake your hand.😔 'Cos we are up against a faceless enemy. - "CORONAVIRUS"👽 A virus that has emptied our street,😟 Crippled major activities in Nigeria's seat,📉 And iced our loved ones so sweet.🤧 There's nowhere we can aim,🎯 There's no medication that we can take.⛑️ The truth is... We're "afraid."
Our Healthworkers, our protectors,🖤 They work day and night to protect us.🧫 They told us, "Wash your hands, don't go out,"❌ "If you're sick then mask it out."😷 "Self isolate for fourteen,"1⃣4⃣ "While we deal with COVID nineteen."🛡️ The nightmare of the infection,🤒 Makes us sleep without pacification,😣 And us, hoping in anticipation.☹️ For the good news, - "The Cure!" 💊 I've had it with COVID-19.🙅🏽♂️ I'm going to wash my hands now,🧼 Join me, let's try it now!💃🏽
