Today is the last opening day of amusement park.
here in Greenland, it is getting a habit that every year capital city of Greenland, opens an amusement park for a week to give those, who can't afford to travel to Denmark, an opportunity to experience how it feels an amusement park is, I am not quite sure when it started but it only is open for a week; I don't know why. It would have been better if it opens in August and being open for least 2 weeks because in September it is already getting cold in the evening that makes us, we need gloves.
if I am not mistaken, it also show some fireworks in the very closing time to mark it has been a happy week but now as I write there is some musician playing, one of the events that marks one last opening day.
But because it is only one big event that happens in the last quarter of the year,we can't complain.
But there is also one big event here in Greenland that only happens during June 21st and that is an independence day. Back in south Greenland there can be some free food in the independence day but last time I experienced 21st of June here in capital city of Greenland, everything costs except coffee and some greenlandic cake.
