What does it mean to read critically?
It means that you are not easily believing with the informations that were being offered by a text.
"Read not to contradict and refute; nor believe and take for granted; nor to find talk and discourse; but to weigh and consider" as Francis Bacon (1908) stated in The Essay.
Critical reading is an active process it because when you are reading critically, you are also interacting with the author not just receiving information just like what we are doing here in readcash. We tend to react and share our opinions on everybody's articles so that means we are reading critically.
