Is read.cash biased towards blockchain articles?

One must have noticed that blogs and articles related to crypoto currency and blockchain development and related stuffs attract more number of views, comments , upvotes. While most of the articles and post dont get due attention.

Hardly do i find views or comments on posts related to Arts, Poetry, gastronomy, history, culture, social issues.

Not everyone can be adept in crypto & blockchain technology. If this trend continues then soon read.cash would end up having a user base of only blockchain enthusiasts. While people from other background would soon quit read.cash.

Most of the other blogging sites based on crypto currency end up with similiar fate and fail to become a mainstream blogging site where people would invest their time and resources.

Technocrat dominated blogging sites would fail to even extend its reach to people who are not much enthusiast about such technology. Most of the blogs and post dont get their due attention. I myself went through some of the articles unrelated to blockchain development and they were so insightful. But unfortunately those writer dont even manage to get more than 5-6 views. This would soon discourage such talented writers and force them to quit read.cash and explore other avenues where there articles would be appreciated.

This is true. Right now, one of the challenges with crypto paying blogging platforms is most of their users only have beginner to intermediate knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrency. Most users only know the basic use of bitcoin, ethereum, and bitcoin cash. Some only know how to deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies and convert them into cash.

However, not all writers have the ability to discuss more the technicalities of blockchain and crypto in general and would rather choose to write a non-crypto currency topic. Read.cash is still in its infancy stage. I'm pretty sure that its team is observing what's happening on the platform, and they are aware of the issue. I believe that they are taking the issue into consideration.

One example of the crypto blogging site that I know who surpassed this challenge was Uptrennd. I am one of the early users and writers of Uptrennd. At first, Uptrennd was only exclusive on crypto and blockchain-related content, but they opened the platform to other writers who want to write about other topics; and they are now doing well. I know read.cash can do it too, or do it better.

This has always been a problem here. As a matter of fact, it was even more pronounced in the past. This crypto and blockchain dominance has been gradually diminishing the last 2 or so months, but it's a very slow process and these topics are still far too dominant here.

Hey mate, I agree with you in majority of your statements. One point that I want to emphasize is that Read.Cash is highly young compared to the other platforms. It's rapidly growing but the user profile consists of new crypto enthusiats who are seeking for opportunities to add up more crypto that they can in short time. That's one of the fundamental reasons of high interest on "earn, mine, get crypto" related posts.

I find the process quite natural and foresee that the more members we get, the more "even" distribution we will observe. For short term "laissez faire" 😌

Given the fact that this is a cryptoblogging site, i think it were to be expected but that's what communities are there for. And not everyone writes about crypto so i suppose it's just a mater of who you subscribe to and support because that makes a huge difference if said communities get more appreciation then they would definitely post more

That's true. Post related to crypto then it attracts more as it related to earning purpose but any post related to health or other issues that's not getting more attraction as crypto posts. That's why now numbers of posts from various writters is less than before. Now most of posts are crypto related . But that's not fair. Read.cash is the site with various community and the members have a lot of potentiality of different sectors. So, i think read.cash has to take some rules and thining about that issues.
