Random Rewarder is Not So Random I had to stay away from read.cash platform for a couple of weeks only to find something really interesting.. Do you think Random Rewarder works randomly? Well , I believe its not so.. Its not completely RANDOM. if you start monitoring your point system closely, You will realise that out of 7 days there are 1-2 days which rewards you despite you doing nothing. YES, some days you are rewarded heavily even if you dont upload, visit, view, like, comment anything. There is a pattern to this random reward system, only if you can crack it. and if you upload articles on those lucky days, You can really hit a jackpot... What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below

Will Read.cash users survive the point apocalypse?? Various users are wondering where are the points?.. The new rules have left many users baffled. A large user base of read.cash comes from Brazil and Phillipines. Both are emerging and developing economies. So one cannot rule out the fact that yes, earning some shillings do matter. But still all the users must understand that read.cash is a budding community. The platform is still at its infancy. So if the sole purpose is extracting as much money as possible, then offcourse you would be disappointed. Let us all come together and help the community grow. Lets not treat this platform as a cash cow. Things would soon normalise... Do not panic just coz the points aren't providing any income... Contribute best of the articles, learn new things from the platform... What are your opinion guys?

I have broken this long conversation into parts so that you don't strain your eyes😂😉 and it be easier for you to assimilate the knowledge bestowed upon us by Koush*** **Question:** **Decentralisation is the BUZZ WORD when it comes to blockchain and cryptocurrency. but do you think increasing scalability of BCH (from 8mb to 32mb) and other currency, would eventually increase its dependency on powerful centralized authorities who would own huge storage capacity?** **Answer:** ***No****, 8mb or 32mb is literally nothing. It is a total unbacked and senseless accusation that 32mb makes it too hard to make it participate in-network or become centralized. They are acting as if everyone around the world must have a mini-computer like raspberry pie and become a node to be really decentralized. But this would mean that as if in a medieval world of gold, everyone is his own goldsmith. But it would be totally decentralized other ways if that medieval town can have 10 or 20 or say 40 trusted yet in competitive goldsmiths. There is no need for everyone to become a goldsmith.* *If you see today no one in Africa is running raspberry pie even though they could technically do so. There are many other different centralization factors and instances apart from this unsolicited argument. Therefore node count is not that important nor does everyone has to have his own node.* *Looking at BCH nodes and how hard it would be to run it does not mean that no one in Africa could do that or in Latin America or in Asia or anywhere around the world. It just means that you simply need a personal computer, you don’t need a super server to run a node and check the genuinity of the coin because you are already 99% secured by trusting one of the thousand nodes out there in the world.* *Even if you don’t trust anyone, you can still buy a computer with specifications dating back to Apollo 11 mission (just kidding) 😂 but you see, you literally don’t need a very sophisticated, high specs. PC to run a node with 32mb.* *We are going for gigabyte blocks before that we need to fix some bottlenecks. If block sizes do increase to such amount, it would mean that there is already a huge adoption and even if only 10% of the people run the nodes, -as opposed to 100% of a few BTC nodes- it would do the job. Meaning 100% of 1000 nodes is the same node count as 10% of 10.000 nodes, the job's done. Bitcoin is now redundant, whatever future developments need to be made has to be done on BCH. For the next 50 years we don’t need to think about this issue, we are already making BCH efficient enough. In the coming years, people will be equipped with much more powerful and efficient computers than now, so we can definitely keep this argument at bay.* **Question:** **Unrestricted ICO are crowding the exchanges which confuses the traders and making crypto-market excessively competitive. So 10 years down the line where do you see BCH standing in the competition?** **Answer**: *This going into ICO and other coins is a bit hard for me because I really don’t delve much into these. All I can say is, BCH is a global ledger that is bound to scale and has the intention and mindset to scale. While many others bow down to the idea that either blockchain’s proof of work coins cannot scale, like BITCOIN BTC. Therefore they come up with other algorithms and governance systems which are a less decentralized and much less revolutionary mechanism to work.* *But now we are showing everyone that we can make this work on something as base and grounded and rough as proof of work coin. If only you can do it right, then you can make an old prototype last longer, be stronger and faster at the end, or almost as fast so that it is a good tradeoff. It has to be competitive enough to compete with new entrants. Like if you tune a real old-timer muscle car, they can outperform any new quirky engine cars, maybe the analogy is not the best but it simplifies and addresses that BCH can come up with any utility that you want which you see in others like Ethereum or Stella or any other smart contract platform and still be competitive enough. Moreover, it won't have scaling issues like Ethereum does. Unfortunately, we don’t have many resources and people working on BCH infrastructure. But it's just a matter of time and effort to get more people to work on it.* *So what I see is BCH being competitive against Bitcoin BTC in the 'sound money' use case, as it can be actually used and not just being hold like an asset.* *And it can compete as well with other coins, that went for smart contracts and tokens. We could potentially have the best of both worlds on a chain that can scale globally which, is also Bitcoin, the one network we learned to love over the years. So this is what I see.* **Question:** **What keeps you motivated to continue venturing in the choppy waters of the crypto-world?** **Answer:** *The world of the crypto industry is devolving. The people here are strange. Probably a lot of unsuccessful people with less brains and with very complicated and ivory tower ideas which serve them the most. This makes them some kind of small scale central bank which is not the idea. You know we want to leverage the power of the people over the national central banks we have. But now people come up with so many technicalities and are way too less visionary who fail to see the big picture. They perhaps view it as a new emerging central bank with a different color, this is not what we need.* *Many hardworking people either left or were outcompeted by real parasites in this industry. It is probably always easy to be a parasite in any industry, but especially in the crypto industry because it is such an infant industry and based on the permissionless nature.* *Everyone can start working on it, which is a blessing and a curse at the same time, as of course people flock to it, who want to 'make quick money' without 'putting in the effort'. The industry and its players have to establish itself and grow, even though everything is trustless in a technical sense, people still should have to earn trust in a social sense.* *What keeps me motivated is seeing the devolvement and seeing that I have the vision to swim across the choppy waters,* *fight the sharks, and reach the holy island on the other side. across many people, who are hanging themselves on others or pull them down to drown with them. The more it devolves the more I will evolve and put up myself as a leading figure of it .* *Not in a technical sense or developer sense but really as someone who says "wake the hell up, get real, tie your shoes, stop being a parasite and stop using the mission of P2P without putting efforts. If you cannot put effort, don’t talk about it. And if you talk about it then have all the guts", this is what I am doing, I may not have much but I put all I got and die up that hill here if it has to be, because not much else matter to me anymore. You begin to feel disenchanted, but suddenly you see an up-vote notification. It's none other than @Koush. Today our guest is whom I like to call The Silent Tipper, who up-votes and tips all those articles which are really worthy of it. He maintains a low profile, away from the pomp and shows, silently trying to bring about a change. We have got a lot to learn from him.*** Here it goes:- **Question**: **Can you tell us something about yourself?** **Answer:** *My name is Kousha Rismansanj, I was born in Iran but grew up in Germany, in a beautiful old city called Heidelberg.* *I'm 35 years old and I used to work freelance in graphics and media, but despite loving the creative work, I never liked the job itself.* *I also worked in day jobs to earn enough money to come by.* *What makes me out the most -and I'm not ashamed to tell- is my radical political leaning. 9/11 and wars in the Middle East made me realize how bad the situation of citizens and the in fact human civilization is.* *It took me until then, but I understood that we are being lied to on a daily basis and in a grand scheme. Governments and its pundit media as well as calcified corporate institutions have nested themselves in big machinery of fake news, fear-mongering, and the disregard of individual liberties. It was a presidential candidate in 2012 in the US, called Ron Paul, that stood out to me as the only person on stage that made perfect sense and spoke from principle. He was the only person who was against the wars and brought solutions and explanations to the table of various issues, that I heard for the first time in my life in this way. However it made perfect sense and even though I had to learn about it over the next years to really understand it, I was immediately convinced, that his libertarian political radical view was the only viable way forward to drive back the war machine and ensure human prosperity and liberty.* *I learned about economics and libertarian philosophy. I quickly became an anarchist -many people might be afraid of that word or idea- but it only means I am a free person and I value human rights.* **Question**: **How was your initial experience with Cryptocurrency awareness programs?** **Answer:** *I remember going around telling people to use Bitcoin, buy and hold it, and other things. I remember telling a startup that has voluntary ambassadors to pay them out in Bitcoin instead of their point system. No one cared at that point and I myself was not versed enough to fully explain why or how they should do it. If I would have been, that startup would not have been gone bankrupt. But that's what happens if you don't listen to me. Even if I can't explain myself well. But I was so afraid of the technical implications, that I also did not listen to myself. Otherwise, I would not be so relatively poor right now.* **Question:** **Project BCH ghana has generated considerable enthusiasm amongst the youths of ghana. How do you see it and what are the potential causes of success??** **Answer:** *I don't think this is true. BCH House Ghana has one big fan, Eric, also known as cryptoboyGh [Twitter] (* @Cryptoboy *). He was also not onboarded by BCH Ghana but read.cash. I have taken him under my wings though and want to cooperate with him to make him the coolest BCH content creator for the youth in Ghana. I motivate him and give him creative direction and tips but BCH House Ghana is still more of an idea than it is a tangible one, sadly. Due to lockdown even hitting Ghana, our main activity like meetups our even local exchange were prohibited. But also lack of resources and funds limits us in our business models.* *With my overarching project, BCH 🔥 IGNITE we are working on bundling our projects into finalized shippable products to be able to pitch them to people who want to see BCH adoption happen in Africa. People have to understand, I am literally the only person outside of Africa, that even addresses the African markets, let alone youth. And for that, I need the help of everyone. That includes capital to be able to facilitate small value transactions or mobile top-ups.* *If we can't get funding, I'd be also happy to have a BCH holder invest some of his capital in our business models and earn profit by providing liquidity for us so we can provide our services without interruption.* *BCH has the best mixture of requirements to be viable as the optimal cryptocurrency. In fact, it's almost a perfect fit for usages in Africa from remittances, top-ups, online stores to charity. All while being a totally decentralized, permissionless tool based on proof of work.* *BCH is very unique in that and despite this high perk, it is still scalable and a utility beast while being accepted globally second to Bitcoin due to, it being a fork of Bitcoin and not some new, obscure coin. Without the help of the community, I won't be able to bring BCH to the people in Ghana, let alone Africa, despite it being such a good solution for the continent. Maybe people think this will come by itself, but I just think that means waiting for someone else to do, what I am doing. I already started way too late, there is no time to wait any longer.* **Question:** **Developed nations have already made significant stride on the adoption of this revolutionary blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. How do you see this technology evolving in developing nations?** **Answer:** *We have a mission, right? We want to give people financial freedom and permissionless money. This is great and all, yet we have to remember that this is not about what* ***WE*** *want. It was always about what our potential user base wants. The second we ask people to jump through hoops to get the convenience and utility they need, we lost most if not all of them.* *I see this technology devolving* *as opposed to evolving. It will devolve into nothing radical, nothing impactful anymore, as most cryptocurrencies IMHO (in my humble opinion) are either insufficiently decentralized (DASH), useless (LTC) small, or otherwise unfit and with only specialized network effects.* *People right now use BTC as if it was BCH, because their payment networks are limited and fees are even worse, at least when the BTC network is not clogged (as it happened in 2017 and surely bound to happen again). If Bitcoin fails, we might have a chance that BCH will be there to keep people from stopping to try out crypto altogether. But that is already very optimistic, as I fear that it is likely to fail altogether. Or devolve into highly specialized and only for the rich and tech-savvy, I would say it is already starting to become like that. I had enough discussions with African based developers, who try to convince me I am a scammer and that LN* (lightning network , you can read more here https://read.cash/@Telesfor/why-will-lightning-network-fail-b1d9a2a3 @Telesfor ) *will be the future. This is insanity. And it is happening right now in Africa. As always the competition never sleeps, and even if it is often fat, ugly slow, and useless it seems to come out to be in front of us every single time.* *The power of crypto was meant to enable anyone anywhere to use it without permission, no hassle, and nothing more than being able to use a mobile app. And most projects in some form or the other have surrendered to the idea, that regulation, licensing, KYC equals convenience and security. This is a cheap way out.* *We can achieve convenience in BCH without compromising security or permissionless feature. As always, we just have to put in the effort. I see a future where something as convenient and yet secure as* ***be.cash*** *offline credit cards, maybe even with BCH support in Africa will reach mass adoption because it is the first mover, goes where others don't care (They rather create custodial credit cards to top up on banking infrastructure, instead of creating new independent infrastructure, where there is none.) and leapfrog entire communities and countries to continents into a convenient p2p permissionless reliable, viable and awesome payments and savings tool for the people, who would benefit the most from it.* *For that, again, we need a lot of focused effort towards reaching that goal.* ***Be. Cash*** *cards won't advertise themselves in Ghana or Gambia for that matter. Which is one of my milestones of adoption I want to achieve.* **Question**: **Be it IMF or World Bank, all have unanimously confirmed that the post covid world would see the worst ever economic fallout. Do you see covid 19 as an opportunity or an opportunity lost for cryptocurrencies? (Given the fact that Bitcoin was a result of economic Fallout as well)** **Answer:** *I hate to call devastating events like that an opportunity, but it is true. I once heard of a Russian proverb that goes something like this: "Wherever a door closes, somewhere else a window opens". It is the nature of things.* *It is logical: Having more options is better than having no options, always. It is in fact a very core insight of the world. You can design Artificial Intelligence around that concept and it will automatically strive to achieve a goal designed on the core metric of going the route, that leaves him with the most options at hand as a result.* *So yes, it is an opportunity, because the clampdown on human liberties over holding the global economy literally hostage - by the way, again government and media pundits working together, incentivized by the system set up centuries ago - is a powerful driving force for cryptocurrency projects, that really brings forth a real solution that frees the people from their limited options.* *But I personally don't like the fact, that we have to sink so deep and have to work so radically against the stream and literally watch people starve in front of our eyes until we can convince them, or even ourselves, to really go for the 'financial revolution' we are talking about.* *We could all use BCH and have more options at hand than before and that would be smarter, than waiting until the water we are sitting in gets so hot, that we have only one try to jump out and literally die and get boiled alive if we fail.* **Question:** **How do you see the high penetration of a multi-coin wallet affecting BCH?** **Answer:** *"If you don't target Millennial Pragmatists, your business is toast." I just read that and I agree 100%.* *I see youth in Ghana, friends of Eric, use multi-coin wallets or other custodial apps, that give them the convenience to immediately cash out their BCH. Buggy, custodial, obscure apps like* ***'moolre'****, because this is the only place they know how to off-ramp into mobile money. The fact, that we could easily create a streamlined p2p version of this without even creating new tech, but not having it, is something that bugs me. Anyone could hire a team of 5 people and create the most convenient, yet secure and non-custodial p2p mobile money exchange. Of course, this is what I am trying to do. But I cannot hire anyone. I only have a few friends and partners, who all struggle to make ends meet. If they could concentrate on that work and really be appreciated for trying to bring P2P Cash to the world, as we always put it, while not at all focusing on it, then you would see BCH naturally taking over. Everyone would use BCH because it is convenient and gives them utility. Any custodial KYC app will be worse for them.* `Question by` @Koush `: Ask yourself, why you don't know Zapit?` `Me answering: perhaps due to extremely low exposure to such technology in our country. hardly anyone knows about cryptocurrency and kinds of stuff` @Koush `answering: It is the killer payment app for India and works great even in its small beta status. You even have different market makers, always ready to buy or sell your BCH off from you.` `The fact, that you used a custodial multicoin wallet instead and not even have heard about Zapit, which is on BCH, a coin with a much bigger network effect than your custodial wallet, should be a huge red flag for us, that we have to work on awareness in the developing world. It is our main audience. I frankly think this is ridiculous. There should be at least 10 teams in India and Ghana and Uganda and Nigeria and whatever. The Roasting Era : Be prepared to be TROLLED!! With the fall of USSR in 1990's many historians believed that it would be the end of history. But the world took a different turn. History never stops. It keeps on taking shape with each passing moment. I believe, somewhere after 100 years when someone would be writing history about today's era, then what would he name it? Throughout we have seen various names given to the ages. Mostly the names sprung up from a single or series of significant event that took place during that time. For example "The Holocaust period" , "The lost generation of 1920's" , etc. If someone were to name today's era, the best name would be "The Roasting Age". Why so? Today the world we live in is the age of information, rather info-demic (information pandemic). Its a digital era, where all information are just a click away. People suffer from information overload. People today have become adamant and stiff about their opinion and views. This is due to the failure to process too much information at once. A single information has hundreds of interpretation, views and opinions. It confuses our brain and it tries to stick to a single source which leads to confirmation bias. If today you try to engage in a constructive debate with someone, i bet you would end up having a quarrel or even fight in worst case scenario. Today every discussion has become an argument. Each one wants to show one's amount of information, legitimacy of the information gained. Perhaps this gives us a superiority complex among our peers. This is the point when we start roasting and bashing each other. Various platforms have given us more opportunities to simply roast people with whom our opinions dont conform. Whats Roasting? Its same as bitching about people. The only difference is while bitching you do it behind the persons back , but while roasting, you shamelessly bitch infront of the person to grab a huge attention and in some cases also make out a living out of it ... 😂 You find roasters everywhere, from youtube to T.V news debates, From blogging sites to social media like Facebook. If your opinion is unacceptable, then be prepared to be roasted or in popular parlance you will be TROLLED !!!😂 So , Welcome to the info-demic driven ROASTING AGE...

World's Longest Bus Route : From London to Sydney In the 1960's there was a bus service which used to cover almost 17000km distance from Sydney (Australia) to London (England) via Calcutta ( Now Kolkata, India). Its the longest bus route ever. The bus name was Albert , by Albert Tours. It was a luxurious double decker bus. One side travel used to cost a whopping £145 (approx $182) , a huge amount back those days. It had all state of the art facilities with heater in the bus as well. It also had a kitchen , Study section , observation deck , party lounge , etc. It took almost 132 days to reach its destination. It covered various countries on its way from London to Sydney : Belgium, West Germany, Austria, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, West Pakistan, India, Burma, Thailand, Malaya and Singapore. As per reports trips numbered 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 ran between London and Sydney , while trips with number 12 to 15 ran between Calcutta (Now Kolkata , in India ) to London ( England) By 1976 it had carried more than 15 journeys. It stopped by various tourist spots as well on its route Imagine yourself in a bus like Albert and going for a world tour. Exciting isnt it? Respected Read.cash , There is some misunderstanding. To the respected technical team of @Read.Cash Sir, Thank you for clearing the air over safety of our money in the wallet. But I too would like to clear few misunderstandings Sir, I didnt try to capitalize on the panic. I love writing and interested in blockchain networking. I hardly earn anything worth the name. I am not here for money. In this global pandemic situation, people need assurance for any mishaps taking place with them. Indeed the best part about @Read.Cash is, its fast and immediate response. (It always makes us feel that there is a accountable, answerable moderator) I simply wanted people to come forward and help @Sarahmay more. Thats why i reposted, and even boosted the article spending the meager amount i earned. So that more people can know about her. I knew her money was misplaced and she perhaps wont be able to boost her article to reach out to more people. So I did it. @Telesfor is a credible and legit crypotoblogger . I have learnt a lot from him. He even cross checked and verified the transactions made by @Sarahmay CRITICISING READ.CASH I beg pardon to the technical team, if i may have hurt them in any way. But I didnt criticise you. It was a general suggestion or to say a constructive criticism. In the first paragraph itself i made it clear that IT WONT BE LEGIT TO BLAME READ.CASH.... So neither i had the intention to capitalize from @Sarahmay agony nor do i had the intention to lambast @Read.Cash in any manner. @Read.Cash is a completely new and innovative site. Is your money safe with read.cash? Recently i came across a very disturbing article which said , the money was stolen by some hacker. Its a terrible mismanagement safety of the earnings . In her article @Sarahmay , she writes how badly she is in need of money. Earning from read.cash is her daily bread. We all know about the hardships covid-19 has brought with itself. The global lockdown, shrinking of economies , recession, job loss. The real question now arises, how far your money is safe with read.cash . It wont be legit to blame the site because whenever you create an account here, read.cash gives a disclaimer that its a new site and still in development phase so dont keep more than $10 here. But read.cash sooner or later has to take up steps to make its wallet more robust and hack proof. Each and every penny matters today in this covid-19 world. Do read the article by @Sarahmay and try to help her. I dont know her personally, perhaps most of us here dont know each other, maybe we are also from different country and timezones. But what unite us together is the bond of humanity, love and respect for each other which transcends all borders, religion , culture , languages. Gar Panchkot : A blissful get-away : Photography & History Recently I visited Gar Panchkot , Which lies in Purulia (About 250km west from Kolkata). Its a perfect blend of history and legend. You can admire gracious nature overwhelming over the ruins of time. The place was ruled by Panchkot raj since 90 C.E . Panchkot became their capital somewhere around 9th century C.E & later was abandoned in middle of 1700's , due to the raid of Maratha bargies What remains today is the silence of the ruins in the foothills of Panchet hill. The magnificent architecture narrates a story of its own. The beauty of the place is mesmerizing. Especially during the monsoons, when the hill top is hindering the swift flow of heavy rain clouds and an overwhelming growth of vegetation all around, feels extremely lively Nearby is Panchet Dam. A calm and serene place to spend some time Although the best time to visit here is in the winter seasons. United Nations: Is it even relevant today? U.N or United Nation Organization was established in 1945. I wont go into its nitty gritty , offcourse you can google them anytime. It came up as a new hope and successor to the failed League of Nations. U.N had its share of success in the past. But how far is it successful in today's geopolitical scenario. U.N has failed in many occasions. it failed to prevent Cold war Yemen crisis Annexation of Crimea Afghanistan war Syrian crisis Indo- Pak war Indo - China war Covid-19 , SERS , MERS expansionism of China Rise of Terrorism The ISIS climate change Rohingya crisis The list goes on .... Since 1945 the same P-5 dominate the UN security council. U.N seems to be good at only preparing reports, research papers , indexes. But it hardly matters.

Why most articles in read.cash dont get required attention? Is read.cash biased towards blockchain articles? One must have noticed that blogs and articles related to crypoto currency and blockchain development and related stuffs attract more number of views, comments , upvotes. While most of the articles and post dont get due attention. Hardly do i find views or comments on posts related to Arts, Poetry, gastronomy, history, culture, social issues. Not everyone can be adept in crypto & blockchain technology. If this trend continues then soon read.cash would end up having a user base of only blockchain enthusiasts. While people from other background would soon quit read.cash. Most of the other blogging sites based on crypto currency end up with similiar fate and fail to become a mainstream blogging site where people would invest their time and resources. Technocrat dominated blogging sites would fail to even extend its reach to people who are not much enthusiast about such technology. Most of the blogs and post dont get their due attention. I myself went through some of the articles unrelated to blockchain development and they were so insightful. But unfortunately those writer dont even manage to get more than 5-6 views. This would soon discourage such talented writers and force them to quit read.cash and explore other avenues where there articles would be appreciated. Explained: Blockchain ( Read it before you use read.cash) Part 1 Block-chain explained will be divided into parts so the information provided doesn't turn into infodemic. I would try to simplify the technology through small posts. Today in this post I would try to explain blockchain in simple and lucid language. Throughout the internet, there are thousands of blogs, videos explaining the blockchain technology, but unfortunately, most of those videos tend to confuse us. Block-chain?? So post 2007 economic recession, trust in banks had reduced. These gave rise to a more decentralized network of money transfer. This network is called as blockchain. Few words we will keep coming across Decentralized Ledger Miners Blocks nodes Why decentralized? let's explain these things with an example:- When we try to transfer money to our friend sitting abroad or anywhere within our country, then we take the help of a 3rd party known as BANK. It is a centralized authority. It maintains its own primary server where my details, my transaction details are all logged in. So suppose I am in the USA and want to send money to my friend in India So I send Raman who is in India 100$ using my "Bank Of America" account. In this process, the bank will charge some transaction fees and will take a few hours to a few days to reach Raman's account which is "State Bank Of India". The problem we face here is that none of us know when the money will reach, where is my money right now? all we can do is trust the assurance given by the bank. The bank between the two countries uses many correspondence banks to transfer money. i.e to say bank of America may transfer the money 1st to the bank of Switzerland, Then Bank of Switzerland would send the money to Bank of Germany, Then it may transfer the money to Bank Of Nepal, The eventually it may reach to State bank of India. Therefore this process takes days, involves a lot of costs, and sometimes it even fails. We don't get to know the detail because of its centralized. We have to rely solely on the information provided by our banks. How Blockchain is different? Blockchain is a decentralized network. which means, unlike a bank that has a centralized server noting down all details, in this, we eliminate centralized server. We have thousands of computer connected to each other through a peer-to-peer network (it means direct connection, no middleman) Each computer (known as a miner) has a ledger or a register where transactions are recorded and updated every few minutes. So if I send money to Raman using blockchain. Then I would get to know the status of my money whenever I want becauses each computer would update the ledger. So from the point of its origin to the point of its destination, I will get each and every update and moreover it's way faster than the traditional method of sending money. The Hardest Goodbye!! I wasnt able to post any article for a couple of days because a new members had joined our family. A baby turtle. My house is beside a pond. perhaps it came from there. I dont even know which turtle species it belongs to. But it didnt mattered. Her cute little face and elongated neck , the way she stared at us with her tiny coal black sparkling eyes, steady and small movements kept us captivated to her charms. She was a magnificent creature unlike I've ever seen before. She was smart and active. Her piggy like nose made her look gorgeous. I shifted her to a 20 gallon aquarium, made her a basking spot, placed some fishes in the tank , provided her with turtle foods. I thought she would soon accept us as well. She played, swammed accross the tank dexterously. She scared the other fishes in the tank, slept throughout the night. I thought she was fine. But she wasn't eating anything. Its a typical turtle behaviour to stop eating once it senses change in environment. So I decided to return her to the pond from where she might have come. It has been just 3 days she entered and brightened up our world and now it seems the bond was forever. Her flaps, her movements, her way of hiding & peek-a-boo, will remain with me forever. I tried to provide her with all i could possibly give. But her house belongs to the wild, Mother nature is her provider. "I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye." ~ Life of Pie Therefore I would bid her lovely Goodbye and let her go & discover her own life.

Depression - Silent Epidemic Depression is a silent epidemic which is taking a toll of thousands of lives annually. But no one talks about it . In India alone there are more than 1.5 million people suffering from depression & need immediate medical intervention. But why are we so shy about openly discussing about the topic? Reasons we don't have a clean definition which separates clinical depression from other trivial day to day issues. Like we club anxiety, sadness, mood off with depression. You must have often heard people saying after a breakup that "i feel depressed", or after a bad day at work we may say "alas i feel so depressed today". But mayb we are just tired, or having a bad mood, anxiety or sadness. Its not going to be prolonged. But depression is a prolonged, perpetual sense of unhappiness, sadness, loneliness, worthlessness Depression has been stigmatized in the society. We often call a depressed person or any person with mental illness as a "Mad-man" , "retarded" , "sulky" , "pagal" (in colloquial hindi language). We start staying aloof from such people further aggravating there condition. There isnt enough studies available either. there is no one medicine, no one treatment, takes years to show miniscule improvement. Hefty & jargons confuses local illiterate people further. Names of diseases seems to have come from Dr. Johnson's dictionary. Its so tough even for native english speakers to even pronounce some of them. Therefore people club all mental diseases under single umbrella called "MADNESS" Untill we educate people, raise awareness among the masses, invest more on researches, make simple yet distinct defination for mental illness, no one would take it seriously. The social stigma needs to be done away with , so that more people come out of darkness and visit psychiatrist and psychologists. Its high time we start taking mental diseases seriously and stop trivializing them.

Death : Punishment or a Bliss? Often we consider death to be an culmination of all our sins. A manifestation of justice in the end. People judge a demised person's character, his entire life based on the way he died, intensity of his death, number of people joining at his funeral. If the death was calm and peaceful, then the person is said to have committed less sin. If the death was horrible, the person is believed to have committed terrible sins in his lifetime. But is death really a punishment? If we observe closely, then its life which is more or less a tedious, monotonous punishment. To live , humans have to wage a battle each and everyday. People in underdeveloped African countries fight against odds every moment. From diseases to hunger. All odds are against them In developing countries people have to fight for clean air, clean water , clean food. Fight against red tapism, bureacratic system. In developed nation, the war is to safeguard its border, act as a big brother , fight against capitalism, a race to prove oneself in this dog eat dog world.
