We All Need That Perfect Timing
I believe there is always a bit of luck in everyone's success story, yes I know hard work amounts to the larger percent of it, but there is always that place of luck, where it all clicks supernaturally. It's that time we generally call a perfect timing, it just happens to your favour, and as natural as it may appear to you, when you think deeper on it you'll realize it not so natural after all. That notwithstanding we can't wait, we can't keep waiting, we don't know when or how our perfect timing would come, it could be today, tomorrow or whenever but we keep trying because it's surely on its way.
A young graduate who has been in search for a job runs into an old friend, and after much pleasantries offered him an open position, now let's analyze this, where is the hardwork? And where is the perfect timing? Remember its impossible to take away the hardwork from a success story, as well as its impossible to take away the luck or perfect timing from a success story either, so in the above analogy, there is a place of hardwork and there is a place of perfect timing, can you identify them, ok let's identify them.
A job opening is mostly fit for people with a specific qualifications or skills, not everyone can fit in, and for one to fit into a specific role or job he or she must have studied on it, and in this case the author referred to the person as a young graduate, meaning he had gone to school to get his degree, he was only waiting for a job, and schooling is a process to, and so that's hardwork. Another hardwork to identify is keeping associations, as easy as it sounds, it's also a skill, a social skill, and should be identified as one of those needed habit we must intentionally emulate.
There are people who don't know how to preserve a relationship with people, they come across people day in and out but there aren't approachable nor do they receive approaches well and so therefore they are in mostly alone, the question of what if whatever they are doing for sustainable fails, what then could they be running towards or who then would they be running to for assistance, we need to constantly meet people capable of assisting. So you see a social skill of preserving association should not be taken as a mere duty, its actually work. But where then is the perfect timing?
Remember the story, the author says "runs into an old friend " this clearly shows unplanned, the meeting was not planned, it was very coincidental. He could have been anywhere at that time, other times their path hadn't crossed they were separate apart, but here they met, unexpected, strictly coincidental, it's got to be luck, and the encounter with his friend brought about an answer to his prayers, a job, that has got to be a perfect timing. Also the discussion could go in a different direction but they picked to talk in line to what he needed. The friend could have unbothered himself with his troubles but decided to help, that's a perfect timing.
Everyone knows at what point of time it happened supernatural for them, probably they have been trying but on this faithful day it worked marvelously well. This are the reasons why we don't take glory to ourselves, because our efforts couldn't do it all alone., no matter how sound or calculative you're as much as we are affected by natural factors then nothing is certain, so whenever it works best believe it was a good timing cause it very much won't work another day. We all need that perfect timing, we all have been trying so hard, but there would come a day when our stories would change on a singular act, it'll be so fascinating, remember to give God his glory, he made it work, the time is his, he makes our perfect timing.
Is it possible to miss one's perfect timing? I believe everyone gets it but it's all about our efforts on that faithful day, this is why you'll hear most people say "I never stop believing " so be mindful that some people do stop believing, they might have started out with much enthusiasm but along the way, they did give in to the pressures attached thereby leading to a decline in efforts. But it'll be unfair if they had to wait too long for luck to shine right, quiting early is never ideal, neither is mediocrity, its essential that we set our minds on what we believe and hold on tight, keeping its possibilites in mind.
You could take a time to reflect the perfect timing in your life so far, its always there, and when you realize how significant that little time had created in your present story, take a little time out to thank God for his help. I like asking some questions when matters like this arise on discussions, what If you didn't step out today, in some cases, what if you left the house earlier, what if you didn't pass through that route, what if your thoughts didn't think through that direction, what if you didn't learn this skill long ago, you see we are all blind to the future, we only hoping our actions we be the best options but we would need the future to answer if we were correct or not, so when things work out, it's never your efforts alone, there is the perfect timing attached to it.
Thanks for reading. Keep being great.
Very great write up.... Indeed timing is everything and not everyone is lucky to grab the good things at first trial. Delay can 100% be a blessing and I can say this from experience
