I'll say it again and again, I've found that my main activity lately is... walking. Like all of you, I love to walk, but only now I have realized that walking has become my main mode of relaxation. Slowly, slowly overtaking the other pleasures I still have. The explanations are these, among others... age, the need to do at least some semblance of sport, the pandemic. There's probably more but I can't identify it now. The gorgeous weather this late November is pushing me…

Something that needs to be done daily for our health. Drink at least two liters of water. For me, it's a big problem. I forget to drink water because I rarely feel thirsty. This is a recommendation of all doctors, it means it is important. I don't know how I will solve this problem but I am glad that my granddaughter is training for it.
A gentleman dressed elegantly, after the fashion of the beginning of the last century. I wonder what he was doing hanging from that building? Can anyone guess? It's a doll. A character in a play. The building he's hanging from is a theatre, the Cub Theatre.
A neighbor of mine has lots of dogs, small, white, and fluffy. They are playful and curious. Because the neighbor has covered the gates the little puppies take advantage of any place to look out onto the street. Their curiosity is huge!
It was beautiful autumn and I loved it. Now it's been raining for a week and the temperature is dropping. I don't like it anymore. I've had bad flu for a week now and it's been tormenting me. I haven't been very active here because I couldn't. Temperature, headaches, coughing... I'm sorry I've been away so long. I missed you all! To forget about all this unpleasantness I have to think about summer, the sea! I hope...
One of my favorite flowers but one I don't have in my garden. Callistephus, the scientific name that the Greeks think is easiest to understand because it is made up of "kalli" and "stephos" which leads to the meaning of beautiful crown. In Romanian, it has a somewhat bizarre name and that was a mystery to me when I was a child and these flowers were everywhere in my grandmother's garden: "bull's eye"! Their time has passed here where I live but I have read that the origin of…
After a long absence, it's hard to come back. At least it's hard for me. I'm glad I can do it and can't think of anything good to post right now except some flowers. Flowers always get us out of trouble, especially us, men. I hope to get back to the cadence of the past and thanks to those who have waited for me... if there are any more!
With the end of the year approaching, I am more and more nostalgic ... more and more memories! Time passes so fast and I don't know how to stop it. I mean, I know the only method, but it's not indicated. I remember the time when I had to have a camera to take a picture. My old camera has become a trinket now.
I haven't traveled in a long time, the last one was 4 months ago, a short vacation at sea. After I retired I thought I would travel more, this was my dream. Unfortunately, reality never resembles dreams. I traveled far less than I had hoped. Now I remember a trip to the north of the country, in a very rainy summer. Lots of green and a few sheep.
It's been another week without opening noise.cash. I had such a long absence at the beginning of my activity here, when I was lumped into the category of those who post worthless content (I don't know who was determining this, my colleagues' vote or various bots?) and I got upset. I didn't log in for a couple of weeks, I'm not sure anymore and then curiosity pushed me to see what else was going on and I saw that I had been removed from the category of stupid. Since then,…
The street I live on, late October. After yesterday's post, where I linked to a blog of mine on another network, I learned two things. That our colleague, @moonlight22 is a colleague of mine on the same network, and that she liked this photo of mine, which I have now decided to post here. Late autumn makes flowers stop believing in winter.
