Leftover Mission!
I was here in my cousin's house since yesterday so yeah, my another mission here is to eat leftovers haha! Kaloka itong pinsan ko, though may bata eh and kagat konti ayaw na. So tita is here to the rescue but goodluck since these are not healthy foods kaya I have fruits and veggies as back up.
Baka magkasakit ako nito but we don't want to waste food kasi blessings naman ito and ayaw ko naman ipamigay sa mga bata sa kalye, baka masisi pa ako or what. And besides, I don't know much of the neighbors here so, I better eat these slowly but surely na okay pa. I already asked my friends and their kids nearby to help me eat more leftovers in the coming days haha. Init-nit lang konti kaya tara, let's eat!
Rainy Sunday here near the city, and yes I'm here again finally since yesterday. After 2 years and 6 months, I'm here again at my cousin's house and feeling my house for a month hehe. I'll be here for that long and with her cat Sky and dogs Sparky and Kobe. And I missed already our baby Thunder at home π’.
Though I know grandma human will take good care of him, I don't trust much grandpa human for I'm afraid he is giving Thunder bones which is not good for him. And hope baby sizt can come home early to take care of her dog's only survivor baby.
And going back here, since my cousin's kitchen is having a makeover, I'm quite dizzy looking for what I need in cooking my food. I can't ask her where to find this or that since she and her son left last night for some transactions in Manila, that's why.
I made fried rice from leftover yesterday since I did not eat rice for dinner. I only ate leftover breads, boiled corn and banana kaya tipid pa din ako wherever I go hehe. And I also brought some dried wood mushrooms and lady's fingers so I can still eat my healthy food here. And after eating will be preparing food for her pets before going back to online again. Happy Blessed Sunday everyone!
Kapag may basura, may pera! Oh ayan, okay na bang kasabihan? Haha, ganun talaga pag gipit sa basura kakapit. It's the second day ng pagbabasura and if kahapon ay face masks, now ito na naman ang mga nahalungkat ko sa baul at aparador.
Nag-iisip ako kung anong gagamitin ko gumala if nasa city but ayaw ko bumili pa ng bags at hirap ng buhay ngayon. Nagmamahal pa lalo mga bilihin kaya tipid-tipid talaga tayo mga kapatid. Good thing may mga collections pa pala ako nakatago for more than 2 years and in good conditions pa. Puro mga bigay lang from my aunts and sisters and di ako mahilig bumili kaya keri lang as long as di pa sira zippers.
I also found something sa lumang aparador and I asked my mother dear kung kanino and kay baby sizt pala and bantay-sarado mismo ng mga figurine pets ko hehe. Sayang piso2 lang at di kasya pamasahe. But it's okay maka save naman at may pag lagyan na ng phone at barya.
Anyways it's still raining and super malamig pa din dahil sa low pressure area na naman kaya ingat ang lahat lalo na sa mga biyahero at sa mga nasa mababang lugar. Happy and Blessed Friday!
Malamig na malamig na gabii kaninyong tanan! Unsa man inyong gina-busyhan diha?
Parang naging collection na lang at once in a blue moon lumabas.
May monkey business este monkeypox virus na kasi na nakapasok sa Pilipinas kaya mask2 pa din. Kahit hindi naman daw siya ma-spread through air ay baka maka-close contact or maka skin-to-skin mo si Marites at Tolits na infected, naku. Ano pa kayang sakit ipanakot nila sa susunod na mga taon para magpaturok nang turok ang mga tao eh mga kakilala ko na not so oldies and not so sick ay biglaan na lang nagba-bush sa world...
Anyways, let's continue to pray for the world na lang, be healthy, and don't get sick. Blessed Thursday!
Wheeew! Finally, I can now relax after how many hours of talking to some of my forever close friends, through chat. Nangalay kamay and leeg ko, promise hehehe. But it's worth to spend time with them because we've been through good and bad times for more than 2 decades na.
My couple friendships/mare and pare were asking help to transfer money from Binance to their bank account through my Coinsph since my account is verified. One is inviting me to her wedding next weeks and to our reunion in our organization. The other one who is my regular chatmate became more interested in earning cryptocurrencies so yeah, tutor2 me today.
And while I'm busy typing, my mouth was also busy eating but slowly hehe. No rice na naman kaya nakatipid ng bigas mga sampung kilo, char! As if madami kumain at 2 cups rice ay good for 1 day na for us ng dogs and cats if ako lang dito sa bahay.
I have here "laing" or Filipino dish made of shredded taro cooked in coconut milk made by my sister-in-law. I also cooked some peeled saba banana cooked with coconut milk, and "alupe" or ground cassava cooked with sugar, fresh shredded coconut meat, and coconut milk, and fresh coconut meat and coconut water. Oh, di ba pwede na kumanta ng Da Coconut Nut while nag uunat-unat. Tara, let's eat at ang lunch and dinner ay nag -meet. Happy and Blessed Wednesday!
Late lunch? This time, yes for real na haha! But actually, no lunch na and I'm full already with just munching this grilled corn, cookies , and pinasugbo or saba banana chip coated with caramelized sugar and sesame seeds, our very own dessert here in Western Visayas.
It's Tuesday again so yeah, it's a productive day and since I received a blessing early in the morning from yougov, I'm motivated to answer na talaga ng surveys haha! Tamad mag survey but since it's legit nga, ayan done na. It was sent actually last night few minutes after I redeemed so if you have yougov, huwag nang tatamarin like me π
. You can ask the referral link if you want.
I now have an extra budget for load and baby Thunder's potatoes and carrots so ayun, di muna kukupit sa BCH. By the way, it's a sunny day here and let's get back to work while cooking something for snacks later. Happy and Blessed Tuesday!
Late lunch? Nope, I ate my lunch at 11:30 a.m. It was just a late post and late shot of the cornmeal I secured in a jar hehehe. Food security talaga dapat since my hunger feels na at "ber" months pa mostly ang harvest.
It's my first time actually to eat white ground corn as rice substitute. Usually it was just mixed to rice and the yellow one, not the white corn. And my sister-in-law's sister who is having a vacation here, cooked ginataang santol but it's dry like a fried shrimp paste. A little different from how others cooked which is juicy and creamy.
I was late in uploading my photos because I saw my aunt's (mom's cousin) adopted daughter's suicidal post. I immediately talk to her in private message and nag marites. She doesn't want to tell me the person causing her so much stress in her life and her younger sibling's life, but I used my convincing power hehe. Sad to know that it was her own biological mom who caused her much emotional pain. Also a friend has money problems and asking a load. Haays ako din poorita, akala niyo kayo lang hehehe.
About my adopted cousin, utang nang utang daw si nanay and ang sinisingil ang mga anak and if they can't pay her debts my verbal abuse na even in public places daw. Cursing her kids and wishing karma for them. She's working hard to support her sibling's education and paying her mom' debts with free cursing pa. Grabe, naman si mother...
I don't know how to give a good advice for her but hoped that talking to her in few minutes can save her from emotional crisis. Daming crisis sa buhay-buhay ngayon, ano? Kaya we need to help each other during these times, kahit simpleng hello, how are you, may save a life.
And while I'm typing this post, weird me sees an angel in a photo of a cooked corn haha! As in clear talaga siya na mukha ng angel sa malayo, but I don't know if you can see that. You can laugh at it but for me, it could be a message that one can be an Earth angel, so just look around you. Someone might be needing your help, right now. Happy and Blessed Sunday!
Now I know why the DOH told before that COVID-19 cases will rise in the coming months. Also when 27 millions vaccines doses will expire this July, hay naku...it's super duper cold kasi when it rains but so hot when it's a sunny day. People are getting sick, coughing, and sneezing, kaya strengthen your immune systems and don't get sick!
Yesterday night, I saw in the news that we have a low-pressure area and will likely to develop into a tropical depression. And just this morning the weather agency told that it is a tropical depression na. TD "Ester" was estimated 790 km East of Itbayat, Batanes. It is moving North Northwest ward slowly. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas." Kaya be extra careful and hope no heavy rains in areas that were greatly affected by the earthquake last July 27 π.
And since it's a rainy and cold Saturday, sarap mag hibernate. Just like our little carabao puppy Thunder that was so comfortable on his newly made pillow, and ming-ming Leila on my pillow. Aba, sarap-buhay ang mga babies na ito, but ako need to double time online since I slept early last night. After working again the drainage in our garden so, just want to say a Happy and Blessed weekend to everyone.

Past 1pm na, and hope you're already full and with a healthy lunchy. Here sharing with you my lunch today, boiled cassava with coconut milk and avocado slices.
I'm already full with 2-3 pieces each of this and no need to eat rice. Oh, di ba tipid na naman sa bigas and kahit mag P20/kilo pa ito, ay ganito pa din gawin ko basta merong root crops and fruits. Gaya-gaya ako sa mga ants eh, kaya while wala pa anihan, matutong magtipid or enough eating lang at maganda pa sa health.
Nalulungkot ako and nagka goosebumps while kumakain when I heard the news. Naisip ko yung ate ko at mga anak niya at ibang kamag-anak dahil sa 7.3 magnitude earthquake sa Luzon, na may sentro sa Abra. Okay naman sila dun but still may threat pa din tayo ng The Big One. We are in Pacific Ring of Fire eh, kaya suki natin yung earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
Stay safe and alert lang mga kabayan at minsan mas malakas yung mga aftershocks and may continue for weeks, months, or year.
Also, Mt. Kanlaon in neighboring island in Negros Occidental ay mukhang galit, kaya authorities are closely monitoring ng aktibidades ng bulkan and warned already the residents living near the area, according sa news. Dasal lang tayo lagi mga kapatid kahit ganito mga nangyayari, at SIYA lang makapagpa-istop kung gustuhin NIYA kaya tumawag lang tayo sa KANYA.
I didn't realize that today is Tuesday and why I was kinda busy, hehe. It's a productive day na naman dapat that's why I finished my laundry at past 7 p.m. As if dami talaga ginawa that I consumed most of my time cooking and eating some harvests this morning.
I was more on bonding with baby dog and baby Dar-dar who loves him since birth and call him Black Bear, while harvesting some corn, and picking fallen cotton fruits. And grandma and grandpa harvest some dragon fruits.
I cooked the corn before lunch after cooking veggie soup and human baby and furbaby were so excited to eat so, I only kept one piece for merienda this afternoon before doing my laundry. Bitin ang snack kaya I still need to eat a quite late dinner and now I'm already sleepy but naku, di pa pwede! It's too early, so work muna konti until 1 or 2 hours more para sa economy.
Anyways, just enjoy your day whether it's a productive day or not, for you can still continue it tomorrow at may bukas pa, ika nga. Happy and Blessed Tuesday!
It's a rainy Monday and the insects are now singing again. As if hapon na hapon na and it's quite dark already, sarap matulog but hindi pwede. I was offline for almost one day na since we had no electricity yesterday past 5p.m. until past 8p.m. so, I chose to sleep early at past 9p.m. Atlast, naka sleep early this July.
I just got back from real world eh and I need to work, work, work online na. Sad to say, mas malala yata problem ng globe now. Or it was just me and just here in our place lang ito or same with you there?
I still need to finish the drainage in the garden and that's what I did early this morning but hey globe, ano na? So instead of stressing my self, I cooked ensaladang puso ng saging or banana blossom salad with fresh spices and fresh coconut milk. This was what I picked last Saturday that made me sweat a lot and contributed to my slight headache that night, haha! Hirap pala makuha ang heart ng banana.
I also picked young cassava leaves after working in the garden and cooked it with coconut milk, turmeric, onions and garlic, split gills mushrooms, and dried wood ear mushrooms. My super delicious, yummylicious viands this lunch, chuz! Only me, may mama, sisters and brothers lang ang nasasarapan nito but may papa, sister-in-law, and younger generations don't like these foods.
Anyways, these are the healthy foods I have now against germs and viruses and will last until tomorrow morning maybe. And will think another healthy foods to share with you next days. Since according to W.H.O., monkeypox business is now very alarming and detected in 70+ countries I think. Also dengue cases are still high, so please don't get sick. Have a Happy, Healthy, and Blessed day everyone!
I'm back at last, after how many hours. As if saan galing, ano. Actually mahina lang talaga signal ko kanina at di ako makapasok dito so, sa FB muna ako gumala. I have now a headache, slight lang naman because I've been talking to people from dog lovers groups around the world for many dogs were dying because of parvo and distemper viruses, reading news especially about health status of Mother Earth, drying of lakes and rivers, cruel animal agriculture, the 3Rs of waste management, preserving and protecting native trees/fruit trees, about critically endangered plants here in the Philippines or in other places.
We have lots of missions to do in this world. Kaya sa mga nag-iisip diyan na useless ang buhay, madami kayong mission! And eating healthy and plant-based foods is already a big mission, kaya go na!
Here, sharing with you my healthy fried rice and veggie soup for my lunch and the remaining half of the soup for my early dinner 2 hours ago. Veggie soup contains fresh plants from the garden like munggo beans, string beans, tomatoes, moringa leaves, dried wood ear mushrooms, split gills mushrooms. And fried rice have some tomatoes also with Chinese Malunggay or native moringa of the Philippines (according to what I have read), pechay, and spring onions in garlic flavored homemade coconut oil. Busolve and with less guilt hehe.
Hope you're safe wherever you are right now and enjoying your delicious and healthy meals. Happy and Blessed Saturday!
Oh ayan, after 1,200 years nakuha ko din. Since few days ago pa na try. Ang lakas kasi ng internet connection ko, ay naku. Mukhang may continuation nga yung mga numbers kahapon hehe. This time nandiyan na yung birth month, day, and yung number sa first letter ng name ko. Pati yung lucky number ng mga Chinese, pwede na pangdagdag sa lotto numbers hahaha! And as I've said idol ko mga Chinese when it comes to earning kaya kahit sentimos lang basta meron lalo pa pag free.
Remember little things make big things unless richness since birth ka na, deadma lang yan. But sa Binance kasi to kaya no fund ako diyan at from free lang lahat and mag-earn interest lang sila diyan hangga't pwede. Anyways, how's your day so far? Hope more blessings material or not man yan and good health lagi. Happy and Blessed Thursday!
What's in number 12?! 1 is my birth month and my name starts with the 2nd letter in the alphabet. Naks i.connect talaga, but truth yan pasok sa mga lucky numbers ko. And today, it's my 12th year with Tweety Bird, my friendship on FB with one of my biological sistahs, even on my trading portfolio, and on BCH price my 12 hehehe. Sana ma experience din natin mag 12 year anniversary dito sa noise.cash ano? Possible ba? Genie in a bottle, hello!
Taya na sa lotto mga besh! Ako kasi di mahilig tumaya eh but last July 9, 2022 I think, a fellow Ilonggo won the P401-M lotto jackpot. Sino kaya yun, we're not friends eh hehe. And the number combinations if you want to try your luck, kayo na bahala since 12 is divisible by 2,3,4, and 6.
Well, in numerology according to sarahscoop. com, 12 represents completion and harmony which can lead to good things daw hmmm π. And according to YourTango, Angel Number 12 symbolizes letting go of old habits, surrounding yourself with positivity, showing respect and love to family, being confident in your abilities towards achieving your goals, and using your talents to change humanity.
Parang gusto ko yun ah, "using your talents to change humanity." Mahanap nga mga talents ko, for I don't know where are they haha! Baka pumila sa lotto outlet, char!
But seriously, it's not about the numbers, it's not about winning money or if you're so so good in so many things that you'll only consider yourself as the lucky one. You are always lucky because you were given the chance to live a purposeful life! So don't say, you are useless in the society coz everyone of us has a role. May role nga ang germs and viruses sa environment eh, ikaw pa kaya? Oh siya kung ano2 na pinagsasabi ko, work, work, work na para more lucky. Happy and Blessed Wednesday!
We have a sunny Tuesday but I don't know in few hours if it will rain again and I can now hear the singing insects. As if it's already dark at past 3pm that the insects love to make noise. But whatever the weather is, we need to be productive pa din dapat lalo pa if sa online naman.
It's still cold here but I know it also means a very hot weather in some parts of the Earth. And I have read earlier on NASA's FB Page that heatwaves and fires scorch much of Europe, Africa, and Asia. The temperature rose to 40 Β°C (104 Β°F), breaking long-standing records. Naku grabe na ito!
Umiinit na ang ulo ni Mother Earth, lagot na ang gluta natin sa mukha, kaya we need to lessen our contribution to global warming. So here, I'm eating pineapple, guava, and santol (cotton fruit) to reduce carbon footprints and water usage and to avoid diseases pa.
If I'm playing online/offline fruity game yesterday, now this is the real game hehe. I'm dropping fruits, it's just that we have no oranges yet so cotton fruit na muna and instead of kiwi, guava na lang same naman na may green, and yun the pineapple slice. And mukhang naka-smile itong aking fruity game na para bang happy dahil mataas na konti ang BCH.
How's your day so far? Hope you're done with your tasks and still with full of energy. Kaya be healthy, eat healthy lang lagi. Happy and Blessed Tuesday!
Rainy, cold and...lazy Monday? It seems that I only want to sit and eat today, ay nano man? Well, inubos ko lang naman ang ube halaya and lugaw leftovers from the food I made last Sunday hehe. At bukas panis na to kaya ubusin na at no way to waste food. But of course I shared some of these to my niece, nephew, my mama, and to our dogs and cats. Only the leftover cornchips ang bawal ishare to them at ako na lang kakain ng medyo unhealthy. I topped the ube halaya on chips for I did not add cheese on ube since and it's not good for me also.
And since lazy Monday for me, naglaro ng larong pambata! I love fruits and veggies naman eh kaya I enjoy playing Play Fruity in Dropz. If you pair pineapple slices it will become pomegranate, pomegranate will become orange, and orange will become lemon. Lemon will become kiwi, kiwi will become almond I think then papaya, coconut, melon, watermelon, and I don't know what's next haha! This is the link if you want to try, https://freecrypto.π₯site/16708.
Maybe funny to you but while I'm playing this kiddy game, I try to imagine that germs and viruses got killed everytime I drop the fruit oh di ba, hehe. And how I wish kids or even kids at heart that would love to play fruity (and veggie) game like this will also try to imagine how harmful microorganisms will die if they drop these healthy foods inside their bodies.
Super hirap pa naman magkasakit now when it's already rainy season, dengue season, and kung anong viruses pa like the newest confirmed virus business detected in Ghana which is Marburg virus. Hay naku, kaya drop lang ng drop ng fruits and veggies inside your bodies! Happy and Blessed Monday everyone!
Sunday visit in the garden in a fine afternoon. Thanks God, the water finally subsided after a heavy rain last last night. The garden was like a pool when I checked there yesterday morning, before the surprise power interruption.
And since I was busy making ube and coco delights almost the whole day yesterday, I was not able to check again in the afternoon. Only now that I have the time to visit the garden and baby aw-aw and myaw-myaw followed me there.
I took some photos of flower blooms there and seems I saw a very rare catus flower (last photo) and it's moving, haha! Our myaw-myaw loves to climb the poles of our orchids while baby Thunder is hiding in tall grasses while barking at her. Seems telling her to go down for the pole is about to break, haha! This was so far the first time that our cat and dog were friends and just love to play in the garden and destroy some of my plants π€¦.
How's your day everyone? Hope you're okay and happy with family and dahil green na kulay ni BCH like sa background ng mga photos ko. Have a Blessed Sunday!
As promised, here's ube and coco delights for me. For me lang kasi ako lang matakaw sa purple food and also sa coconuts and my baby niece and nephew only want these as an added flavor to something sweet and cold foods.
And since we have no electricity at past 8 a.m. this morning, I finished cooking before the power was back on at 6 p.m. We have no idea about the power interruption but I saw a social media post just this afternoon from our electric cooperative's Station 1 about a power interruption scheduled today. But we are in different station or area so I don't know why we have it here also. Parang alam ng company na excited ako magluto today eh, and if may kuryente ma-delay kasi mag-oonline muna ako haha!
So because of unexpected power interruption, I made ube halaya and lugaw before making coconut oil. We call it lugaw here but it's bilo-bilo in Tagalog or dessert made from sticky flour in coconut milk and sugar. And since we have no available sticky rice, I mixed red and white rice and added coconut strips and ube dice. Naging sticky din naman siya konti, so it's okay for me.
I made these all in just one day but ube halaya and lugaw will last for maybe 2-3 days and the coconut oil for 1 month or more. Yes, 1 month or more since we can live without oil for a month or longer than that hehe. It's just that the one I made last week were consumed fast because I'm cooking scrambled eggs for our furbaby and sometimes I mixed it to all our dogs' food.
I also stored some boiled ube slices in a jar and this will last for weeks or months if I want to make another dessert. But maybe I will just eat this as a plain snacks in few days. Idol ko kasi ang mga langgam kaya I stored some foods good for few days to avoid hunger while it rains, este while grinding online haha! As if wala nang makain ano, but it will save more time lalo na shifting yung pang-inis ng power and internet connection eh, para iwas lugi sa binabayaran. Happy and Blessed weekend everyone!
So busy Friday for me and the rain is pouring again. It was a sunny day until past 4pm and we never thought that it will rain at past 6pm with thunder and lightnings. It stopped at past 7pm, and now it pours again and quite heavy than earlier. Good thing my niece and nephew and their friend had the chance to be home few minutes ago.
I was about to cook ube halaya and make coconut oil again but we have a surprise visitors, so the cooking show was postponed. My niece and nephew accompanied their friend and also our neighbor who wanted to buy some dragon fruits. His mom will give these as a present to his first cousin in the city who loves to eat the fruit, but we're out of stocks na. I don't know why in demand ang dragon fruits now that we have more rainy days than sunny days? Maybe more and more people were doing healthy living so, that's good news.
And I was surprised to know that the cousin of this neighbor is just a 1 year old baby who loves to eat dragon fruit! Buti pa ang baby, gusto niya kumain ng healthy fruit at kahit ako bihira nga lang kumain nito. But anyway, back to my cooking show ayun, I will cook tomorrow morning for I was so excited earlier eh kaso yun nga may surprise visitors.
Oh my, the rain is getting heavier. Is it raining also in your place? Be extra careful especially if you're driving, traveling or you're living in landslide and flood-prone areas. Blessed Friday everyone!
Fried rice and purple yam in a rainy and cold Wednesday! Hello here, hope you're all fine and safe today with family, pets, or with friends, wherever you are right now on planet Earth. Huwag lang with Marites and friends and mahirap yun hehe.
I'm done eating my early dinner (late post lang) and ano ito, fried rice galore? We have "bahaws" or leftover rice this morning and my mom cooked rice with diced purple yam for lunch, so since I'm craving for fried rice and excited to use the garlic-flavored coconut oil, I tried it to plain rice and just added spring onions. I also tried it to rice with diced purple yam and tomatoes and I just love it!
I thought, I would only love ube in cakes, cookies, bread, ice cream, or eating a boiled one with a little sugar but I'm loving it if mixed with rice. You can really save rice with this and our veggie soup also has purple yam slices with sweet potato tops, and lady's fingers. Oh di ba, anong klaseng luto ito? Have you tried purple yam in veggie soup? It's a substitute for potatoes, squash, taro or if you have no other food to eat, purple yam is the key.
And I realized that it was just right that I have planted many purple yam in the garden last Monday when my internet connection is not okay. The reason I was not feeling bad that time because, I have a mission in the garden to plant more foods ahehe. For even our chickens and furbaby Thunder love to eat ube. Happy and Blessed Wednesday!
It's already past 1 p.m. in my beloved Philippines and most of us were done eating our lunch. And hope you're eating healthy lunch to have more energy for the whole day and to be productive, since it's a Tuesday.
It's raining again here but not that heavy like my tummy because I ate avocado and guava an hour before eating rice and veggie soup. And will be eating the remaining pieces later for snacks. Puro may color green na lang kainin natin nito, pambawi sa BCH na laging red na red. But it's okay, importante earn lang ng earn basta meron para di pumayat ng husto ang ating mga crypto wallets. Happy and Blessed Tuesday!
Coco Oil!
Hello, hello mga suki bili na mura lang! Coconut oil for sale hehe. As if alam ko magkano na price sa tindahan if ganyan ka dami.
I felt bad yesterday when I was not able to go back online in the afternoon until this afternoon. Okay na kasi ang ubo ko but yung internet ko hindi pa so instead ma-istress, I made coconut oil again. And this time, mas okay siya compared to the one I made last weeks.
I tried removing the sweet smell of the latik or curd by adding calamansi juice and not overcooking the curd and so far, so good! Though, it is still fine with me if it has sweet smell, as I have said before. I also tried adding garlic as flavor to the half of the oil and will use it maybe tomorrow to make fried rice. Still thinking to make some more oil tomorrow to fill the bottle and will try onions or ginger flavor maybe.
And if you have coconuts there and will try to make your own cooking oil, just grate the mature coconuts, add water to the grated coconut meat and squeeze the milk. Boil until you see the oil separates from the curd as you can see in the photo. Add calamansi, lemon, or baking soda to remove the scent. Unless you are like me that still love the sweet scent, just get the oil, let it cool and use a clean cloth to strain before pouring it in a bottle.
If only I realized this before, maybe we have saved a lot of money from buying cooking oil. Though, we use cooking oil once or thrice a week only since we prefer plain veggie soups and steamed foods. Atleast now that the price of oil in the market is high, we can still have oil in cooking even without money.
We need to be practical and resourceful nowadays, para iwas stress. Happy and Blessed Monday everyone!
Natural Dewormer!
Here's what I cooked before dinner for our fighter puppy baby Thunder's natural dewormer. Squash, moringa leaves with string beans and lady's fingers that we harvested this morning.
I started giving him squash, moringa leaves and other veggies that are safe for them to eat since last week and I saw some wiggle friends coming out of his Koko crunch yesterday π€. And so I said, I will add more veggies next time.
These string beans have purple seeds so parang pusit na yung sabaw. This is because of chemicals called anthocyanins that have antimicrobial, antimutagenic, and anti-inflammatory properties so it's also good for our pet's health and baby Thunder loves to eat it. And hope the remaining worms inside his tummy will get paralyzed and be removed in his stomach and gut once the veggies were digested. All bulate, go! Pasintabi po sa mga kumakain, ha?
You can try these veggies to your months old puppies if you want a natural dewormer and a good source of vitamins and minerals for them. But since they are omnivores, giving them a little meat mixed to veggies will make them happier.
It's a sunny Saturday and human baby and furbaby harvested some sources of Vitamins A, B, C, and D!
Finally, baby Thunder toured in the garden with baby master Lyn-lyn. He's still weak but he enjoyed hopping through the tall grasses and cry when he can't find us. We harvested some calamansi, lady's fingers, and string beans for these are not just healthy for us humans but also for this puppy.
We already have alugbati or malabar spinach for lunch so I will cook these veggies later with squash and fish for his nutritious dinner and also a natural dewormer. And will make warm calamansi juice for it's good for cough and colds.
It's lunch time already and excited to sip a warm veggie soup for it's soothing to my throat. And hope you're also enjoying healthy foods for your lunch today. Happy and Blessed weekend!
Peace Tea!
Peace tea kayo jan! Parang nagmumura ano hahaha. Sabi nga ni Ken Kohen, "A cup of tea is a cup of peace." Agree ba mga tea lovers diyan? Hindi naman siya pala war freak, peace loving pala ang tea. Mukha lang pala-away kung isama sila ni peace at parang ako lang haha! Epekto ng kulang sa tulog at parang barking dog sa ubo.
Actually, I'm not a tea lover at once in a blue moon lang mag tea kaya few months ago may tea bags na may amag akong tinapon sa halaman as fertilizer. Now na inubo at may tea ulit na free, ayun tinry din ang ibat-ibang flavors. Though, yung best for me ay ginger and lemon at mas may peace ang ubo ko.
Kahapon na malamig at maulan nag cold buko ako, but today na uminit nag tea π
. Timing naman may not so sweet banana cake na bigay si sister-in-law at nag-meet sila sa wakas ng tea. Kaya kahit nakakainit ng ulo ang internet connection at kuryente na inuubo din, ay keri pa naman.
Tara, join me at may back up pang food sa likod at tayo ay mag peace tea. Happy and Blessed Thursday!
It rained again and this time, it's more heavy than yesterday. That means the weather today is colder but here I am, eating cold fresh buko hehe. Bahala ka nga ubo ka. Ubo ka lang, lamon lang nang lamon ako ng fruits and veggies at magbabalita pa ako haha!
According to PAG-ASA, "At 3:00 pm today, the low pressure (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 365 km East of Catarman, Northern Samar (12.4Β°N, 128.0Β°E). It is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao."
So again, be careful, be alert if you're traveling or living near the waters, flood landslide prone areas. Also check your pets if they're safe.
Now, back to eating the remaining cold buko while earning and while barking like a doggie hehe. Happy and Blessed Wednesday!
The rain has come but not that heavy like my tummy, haha! It's too cold here and I have a cough but I'm eating cold pineapple slices with a little salt, instead of hot veggie soup. And earlier, I also ate cold jackfruit and it seems that my cough is freezing cold kaya less atake hehe. Disturbo sa ginagawa pag may ubo.
I have here 2 slices but after few seconds no more pineapple. Hala haha! Goodluck tongue and teeth for I want to eat more and I know my tummy has no violent reaction. I'm used to it fruits even after dinner so, keri lang. But do not follow me if you have sensitive stomach for I only have sensitive teeth, kaya may konting pangingilo na even if it's sweet haha.
Tongue is still okay but I don't know when the bromelain or the enzyme that pineapple contains will burn it. But salt is there to trigger the enzymes, so maybe I can eat one whole pineapple today.
As if ilang years na di nakakain at takam na takam. Anyways highways, since the weather is cold, we need to take care of our health guys. Iwas basa sa ulan and eat more fruits and veggies if possible...baka tumaas na naman cases ng covid at madami pa inuubo.
And since it's Tuesday, hope it's a productive day for many of us and it also means your health is okay. Unless your sickness now, is laziness. Good day everyone and God Bless!
"Sleeping bitcoins from 2010 wake up". This was the first notification I saw when I was back to online this afternoon, after more than 24 hours of being offline. Sleeping beauty lang ang peg yesterday but it was not enough, when I always sleep late almost everyday since 2010, ayyyt haha!
Buti pa ang worth $4.27 Million bitcoins after a decade, gumising. But me, I only had more than 8 hours of sleep yesterday and it was not enough for staying late for 1 week monitoring baby Thunder every 3-4 hours.
I'm still checking baby bow-wow every night at 9pm, 12mn, and 3am the next morning since the weather is too cold and I keep warming his place with a bonfire. And because of that he can sleep well and without stuffy nose at night.
This photo was taken on the last day of June when I had 2-3 hours of sleep only. When I kept on sneezing and crying without emotions while inhaling the smoke, hahaha! Anyways, sleepiness is waving, the weather is cold, and I still need to wake up later at 12mn so I need to say goodnight, sleep tight, and sweet dreams. See you next decade, este in the next 10 hours maybe. God Bless everyone!
Hello, Sabado kamusta kayo? I don't know why everything seems so slow today. I'm not that busy offline but I can't be here from time to time. Ano ba nangyari, parang ang heavy. Was it because santol is literally heavy dahil madami? Hahaha sinisi pa ang santol.
I actually cooked ginataang santol or cotton fruit cooked in coconut milk last night for dinner and kept half for today. Umaga, tanghali, gabi santol ang ulam. And di pa kuntento, I also ate 3 pieces earlier but I want more so I peeled another 2 pieces after my early dinner. Now, I can really feel the pangingilo. Kaya mag Sensodyne na, charot! Nag-endorse pa ng toothpaste dahil sa santol hahaha!
Anyways, it's almost 9 p.m. but still the weather is quite hot. Unlike last nights that I really need to wear coat going outside to check baby Thunder. Now, I'm back to online world and earn, earn, earn until my eyes can fight sleepiness. Happy and Blessed weekend everyone!
