You have too much on your plate.
When we were kids, we frequently noticed that every time we ate, our parents would always tell us to just take something we could afford to finish eating. Thus, when we take too much and seem hesistant to finish it all, the response was always, "That's because you have too much on your plate."
And lately, I realize that yes, I do indeed have too much on my plate. I forgot to take the things I can only afford to handle.
I engage too much in planning for tasks that are also unrealistic and unachievable in one day. I forced drastic changes to occur when momentum is what I needed.
I sought motivation when what I really needed was clarity about what I wanted to achieve and why I was doing it.
I always work and most probably have no time to play, but I did see that I don't need to engage in the hustle culture and even if I want to, I just need to figure out what I am hustling for. Does this reason require this level of effort to maintain it? Or do I only need to take a few small steps to effect change?
Yes, as much as we're impulsive in shopping, we too are impulsive in doing the same thing over and over for the sake of saving time.Â
We forgot to take a step back to analyze whether the track you're going through is still the same or have you gotten lost in the road already?Â
Which I really find helpful when I only have the time and effort to do it.Â
I remember years ago we were tasked with doing a project proposal regarding an establishment we could do for the school. I was tasked as the leader, and we actually got the highest rating back then. However, what caught my attention there is the monitoring process.Â
Thus, it made me realize that for every significant action, the first step was to always brainstorm and plan, but in the long run, there will always be monitoring. a process that will check whether you're still on the same path.Â
So this post is intended to check in with you.
How are you today?Â
Are you okay?Â
Are you still living? Or are you just surviving now?Â
Whatever you feel right now, that's fine. You can always reset and get back on track. As my elder said last week,
If you feel you have gone astray already and everything you have is beyond your control, Just pray and eventually you will get back to the path you're supposed to be taking.
Momentum is also important. The world does not require you to take everything at once. Momentum is when you do things little by little until you feel you can take bigger chunks.Â
Take your time for things that don't have a deadline, but also remember to start as soon as possible. Time cannot be taken back.
You only have a lifetime in this world. Make it count.Â

It doesn't matter that we are not moving straight what matters that we keep our direction same once we get to know it or not
