I Was Unconscious
(Universal Symbolism)
The school year begins.
I went back to school.
Upon entering the classroom, I went straight to the end of the room and found a seat.
I was wondering why my classmates were like kids.
Yes, I was attending a class in elementary grade but I am old enough like a college student.
I drove away the kid sitting in the chair behind. I told him and the other kids as well to stay away from the chair.
No one will sit in there but me.
The kid silently stood up and found another chair. I was a big guy so he should obey.
I was sitting for a couple of minutes while waiting for the teacher to arrive.
The room was on the second level.
Boredom strikes me.
I went out and sat in the middle of the stairs. I lit a cigar and smoked.
I looked at the students down below. The sun was high. Kids are happy playing on the ground. Some are gathered under the big tree to seek shelter from the heat of the sun.
I was halfway to finishing my smoke. Somebody was calling. Psst! Psst!
My eyes searched for where the calling came from. It was Lance, sitting in one of the kiosks at some distance. He was smoking too, dressed in a school teacher uniform.
He went near me. I put out the cigarette and tossed it down. I stepped on it to extinguish the fire.
We go up stairs. The bright light suddenly turns dark. It was like having a solar eclipse. I looked up to the sun. It was like a ring, shining bright, glimmering and a dark black inside. It plunged down fast.
It is not a solar eclipse according to Lance. It is just another natural phenomenon.
We head straight to the second level going to the classroom.
The school building's hallway was a bit lengthy. The room we are about to occupy was at the far end. I suggested to Lance that we should enter at the other side so we can have a quick tour at the second level.
The rooms' walling were adjustable and can pass through inside room after room.
The first room was crowded with grade school kids. We checked every room and watched kids inside as if it was like a marketplace.
As we went checking every room it seemed we couldn't find the room we were supposed to go in.
It was an enigma, a labyrinth.
We searched here and there, down to the first level and up again.
There was no room for us.
It was five in the morning. I pulled myself out of bed and brewed coffee.
Maybe later will be better.
Thanks for reading. Ciao!

At first I thought it's a short story based on your own experience but at the end you woke up and I realized it was just a dream. Nice article by the way. Might as well give my dreams a reality by publishing it here. If only I could remember them after waking up. Haha
