What is Recovery For you?
As i was watercoloring a coloring page i thought to myself
Recovery to me means getting stronger not that nothing affects you now and your as rock hard or you stop feeling . Recovering means you know it hurts you but it no longer affects your mood ,your day, your life . It doesn't make you crawl up into a ball in your blanket . Recovery is when you accept that life is supposed to be tough but its fine you handle it with a smile . Recover is when you no longer workout cause you wanna look good in pictures its when you just do it for your health .
Recovery is finally cutting off toxic people even in family . Recovery is you no longer needing validation for what you do . Recovery is making sure your happy . Recovery is not taking pictures with filters . Recovery is you value your time . Recovery is to be a better person than you were before ❤️
Recovery isn't just healing a wound and not picking the scabs its also making mistakes but instead of regretting learning from it .Taking it for experience . Recovery is the improvement you make after a failure just like this painting .
I realized its been ruined but i could still fix it ofcourse it was torn a little ofcourse i was hurt tearing it but some times the whole painting doesn't need to be thrown away just a little change can fix it like i taped a sky Gradient behind . Recovering isn't being perfect its being scared but finally able to move again .
Life is beautiful and troubles are inevitable but we can always be bigger than our mistakes and improve , Adapt ,Recover.
( Sometimes words really come from heart and this blog is an example for that )
