Mirror in the Garden

So today i was browsing photography on Pinterest and i saw many photos with mirrors looking as Portals in the garden and i decided to make one too.

Firstly i made 2 ovals this will be the lineart for our mirror and the mirror rim

Next i made the Rim of a different color while the background i painted it all back

Then i selected the inner oval and added a sky Gradient to it i used water color brush to make this

After wards i selected the rim layer and added another layer clipped on top of it made is look like gold with the highlight and shading

Now i made clouds and clipped that layer on the sky layer

I turned the opacity of the clouds lil low and added green dark green leaves with a leaf brush on the corners

Then i added foliage with foliage brush which i made myself in Medibang paint pro. I filled the whole background with dark green foliage this will be the base of our garden

Next i added leaf and vine like long strokes with a sharp pen brush

Now i added daisies to the grass it almost looks so good at this point you can see what i was trying to make

Then i added some more colorful flowers and leaves afterwards i also added bokeh effect to it

I changed the other flower's color a bit and used a red layer on top of it all and set it on overlay lowered the opacity and we are done .

I love doing this kind of practice study since it lets you understand how things work and how different brushes work
