The year has been fast spent and gladly we are all heading to the new year. 2020 has been an historical year with both positive and negative occurrences. One of it is the Global Pandemic - Covid-19, which has taken a lot of lives and almost crashed the Centralized Financial Systems.

The Chapters Of Bitcoin Cash -2020 is a written documentary of all that has been going on within the Bitcoin Cash Ecosystem in the year 2020. Already we can tell that Bitcoin Cash has pulled Stronger.

Events

2020 witnessed a lot of Events on the Bitcoin Cash Ecosystem which will be listed below;

January 16th, 2020 - Bitcoin Cash MeetUp, Miami

Bitcoin Cash MeetUp, Miami hosted by Stefan Rust and Mate Tokay. That was actually the first Bitcoin Cash MeetUp hosted at Miami to discuss Bitcoin Cash which also provided opportunities to get involved with cryptocurrency and receive some free BCH.

February 19th, 2020 - Bitcoin Cash MeetUp, Detroit

With the same aim of discussing Bitcoin Cash, A MeetUp was held at the mentioned location, hosted by the Satoshi's Angels.

April 6th, 2020 - Bitcoin Cash Block Reward Halving

This event saw the block reward price divided in to two. Initially before the event 12.5 pieces of coin were being given as a reward for mining a block but slashed to 6.25 BCH. Currently there are 63 more halvings to occur in future on the Bitcoin Cash BlockChain.

August 18th, 2020 - Listing on KickEX

Bitcoin Cash got listed on KickEX which was kickEX's first listing, a benefit to both the traders and the investors.

November 15th, 2020 - Bitcoin Cash Upgrade/Hard Fork

This event was one of the major events that took place in the Bitcoin Cash Ecosystem in 2020. The Upgrade presented two conflicting proposals by the BCHN and BCHA which resulted in a hard fork that split the chain.

Projects

A lot of projects have surfaced the space from January to December 2020.

Flipstarter.cash

Flipstarter.cash, a non-custodial platform for raising funds to support campaigns on Bitcoin Cash got into existence. This project got announced On February 15 by a user on the read.cash blog site.

SignUp.Cash

This project came into existence within the year 2020, offering a non-custodial wallet for building Decentralized apps. With Signup.cash, a Developer could easily create applications with already laid tools and can raise funds to support the Project on flipstarter.

One.Surgery

One.surgery got Funded on a flipstarter campaign in order to promote the adoption process of Bitcoin Cash. One surgery is a dedicated platform to support the progression of safe surgery worldwide.

This happens to be the first Medical Community to pay it's workers using Bitcoin Cash.

BitcoinCash.Site

Bitcoincash.site, also one of the projects that got Funded by the bitcoin cash Community on the 10th of September, 2020 to serve the goal of onboarding 1 million new Bitcoin Cash users by 31 December 2021.

This project have gone live and is actively working towards it's goals.

Anyhedge/DeToken

The first ever Decentralized Finance system (DeFi) built on the Bitcoin Cash Protocol. This project went live on the 30th of December, 2020

Updates on Bitcoin.com Wallet

The year 2020 witnessed an update on the bitcoin.com wallet which included a feature that could allow its users to perform a Peer to Peer transaction via a shareable link.

Updates On Fundme.cash

On creation of the Fundme.cash, a medium was set to get a 5% fee from campaigns which was debunked by donors. So in order to make the project still profitable, a flipstarter campaign was funded to help update by creating a fundme token (FMT).

Noise.cash

Birthed from Read.cash, Noise.cash is a social media platform with an innovative strategy of disbursing Bitcoin Cash into the hands of thousands of persons. This project went live in December,2020.

There are several other projects that have been Funded and have gone live in which we might have not included but with the few, we all can tell that 2020 was a great year for Bitcoin Cash.
