A frank view about money

Money is something which is very dear to us. The primary focus of our life is to earn money. We may talk about happiness and other such things in life but the bottom line is that money is our primary concern. Money helps us when we are poor because it gives us food and shelter; money helps us when we are rich because it gives us to the opportunity to fulfil our desires. So both rich hand the poor cannot do without money.

Money is earned in two ways; if you have a skill then you can en cash it by using it like painting acting etc and second is using money to make more money like starting a business, earning dividend income or interest income. In the first case if you are born with an inborn talent then you are among the lucky few, or you have to learn a skill, or you have to have get education to earn money. 99.99 percent are without any inborn skill so 99.99 percent people struggle to make money.

And for this reason maximum people spend their lives as a middle class or lower middle class or poor. Among this group are a few who work hard and luck favours them and therefore they are able to raise the social ladder. I am also one of them who are struggling to fulfil my dreams of financial freedom and wellbeing.

We all talk big things about principles, happiness peace, and satisfaction. These things are good in its place to talk about and aim for. But ask a poor man who feels hungry 3 times a day. If you tell him about these things he will tell you to shut up and first give some money. These things cannot kill his hunger, for that he needs food and for that he needs money. One famous monk in India once told that if you want to pursue spirituality then first earn money and then come to this field. You cannot follow the path of spirituality in an empty stomach.

The whole world is geared to earn money. Both an individual and the nation run on money and nothing else. The difference between the first world nations and the third world nations is money. Bhutan is a country which has the gross happiness index (GHI) instead of gross domestic product (GDP). It is a good concept to measure the happiness and satisfaction of the citizens. But Bhutan is a small Himalayan country which is mostly dependent on India for its requirements. But larger and more influential countries cannot afford to do this. For countries like USA and the European countries and China money is the thing which gives them the power to show their superiority.

Behind all the international alliances and groups it is the money which does the talking. The Muslims have their Organisation of Islamic countries (OIC) which aims to protect and further the cause of their religious affinity. But that too is based on money. For countries if it is choice between religion and money, it is money which is always chosen first, though lip service may be given to religion. In the latest political development we are seeing even Muslim countries are forming diplomatic relationship with Israel, which is quite unthinkable for them. Behind all this is strategy and money.

At the individual level we can do certain things to earn more money. First we need to master a skill or have a proper education; only these two things can unlock the doors to earning money. The level of finesse in your skill and the quality of your education will decide your capability to earn money. Many like me are writing here, some of them claim to have passion for writing and most are here for the money. Out of the few who are having passion to write, I doubt how many of them would have stayed here if it was a not paying site. Here most are hobby writers so there finesse to be a professional writing is lacking. If they are able to hone their skill of writing then only they would be able to go to the next level where he or she can earn more. So sharpening the skills and education is extremely important to make a major jump in the earning potential.

Passion is required to follow something. In the above example if we could find our passion for a particular field and then enhance the skills in that field then we can hasten the process of earning money. But for the maximum of us we are without any passion or do not know what our passion is. Therefore we take up any field to learn a skill or further education. Obviously for them the journey to earn money will be more difficult.

Though our mind likes to dream of money but we are not ready to work hard for it. Even if we find the passion in a particular field and then pursue that field, we tend to get lazy and lame in the long journey. So our fire starts to die down. When we should try for excellence, we limit ourselves to the mediocre. We forget that like me, many are pursuing the same field and not all will be successful in fulfilling their dreams. For most of us after reach a stage of stability we get complacent.

So money is of vital importance to us. Don’t ever underestimate the power of money and do whatever you can do to make yourself empowered enough to attract money.

99.99 percent are without any inborn skill so 99.99 percent people struggle to make money.

If you can do what other people need, you will be able to earn money. You have to learn what people need, especially people who have money. Then you will have no trouble making money.
