How should we act if we have a seizure?

Before an attack

Try to calm down. Panic attacks feel horrible, but they cannot hurt you.

If you are a person who suffers from frequent attacks, let people close to you know about them and they may be able to help you manage the episodes.

During an attack

If you feel a panic episode coming on, breathe slowly, concentrating only on your breathing.

Accept your attack, you will probably feel your body screaming at you to do something about it, but focus on the present and keep breathing slowly.

It is necessary that you put your feet on the ground, as this makes you feel more seated psychologically.

After the attack

It is very important that you go to a doctor and have a check-up.
