Escaping from reality...?
Many times sleep is the best escape, being trapped in your dreams and what you long, however, this is due to many things which you face today.
There are people who tend to sleep a lot, as others who tend to sleep less, and is that this may be due to a case of depression, anxiety, anxiety, among other negative emotions. For this reason, you feel that the best solution to alleviate that pain is to sleep, not to wake up, because again you would be facing reality. Sincerely, this is something that I understand perfectly.
However, if we fail to face our realities, situations or problems, we will never move forward, nor fulfill those desired dreams that we always carry in our minds, recreating moments that are not about to happen.
If we ignore the fact, that sadness is consuming us, this will cause much more damage, you may feel:
Difficulty concentrating or indecision: It is important to note that a slight loss of confidence can interfere with decision making, because if you don't trust yourself, how can you make the right choice?
Feeling worthless: Hopelessness and feelings of worthlessness are indeed very common when feeling depressed, but you also feel the need that the best solution would be to sleep all the time or overthink it in an unhealthy way.
If you feel that the sadness lasts more than 5 days, it is advisable to visit a specialist or realize that something bad is happening and you cannot control it by yourself.
I have always liked to tell anecdotes related to my articles, and this will be no exception.
I have gone through a very similar situation, I am a person who previously could not rest, I did not sleep enough and sadness abounded in every corner of my room, however, it was all due to my unhealthy thoughts, I got thoughts that could be considered suicidal, others of terror and fear, and so on. But, I decided to relax my mind, to rest, something that favored me a lot and I saw it as a way of escape to my problems, the easiest one actually. I don't think I was ever eating properly, so much so that my body was weak, as I didn't get enough protein or other healthy foods that helped me physically.
You are probably asking yourself ``What did you do to get out of it, get your life in order and be able to control your thoughts before or after sleep to face reality?'' And the answer to that seems simple, but actually somewhat complicated.
I made myself a proposal, I think it was more of a challenge, but not difficult to fulfill. I decided to turn to specialists, to reliable internet sources and other ways that I will leave for last.
I just want to say that you are capable of anything, and that also means that you are capable of facing all those problems, situations or obstacles that come your way, just one day at a time. Once again I want to emphasize how proud I am of you and I am very happy about all that you have proposed and achieved!
Finally, here are some useful tips that will surely help you:
Create a routine, where you can follow a schedule or sleep in cycles.
Wake up earlier, that is, set an alarm without snoozing, take a shower and motivate yourself.
Stay awake, take a walk while controlling your caffeine doses and avoid naps.

This is very helpful, sis! I have routines too to keep me busy and on focus on whatever I am doing. I only break the cycle during Sundays or special occasions! :)
