I found out that most Newbies, are still lost when some terms are being mentioned here on read.cash. Being that I'm trying to take it upon myself to assist Whosoever I can, I'm putting this up as an Article.

What Are Terminologies In Read.Cash?

Terminologies in Read.Cash are those terms used in referring to some actions in the community (e.g: Seed Phrase).

Now below, I'll list down as many terminologies used here on read.cash alongside their meaning so, hop in let's get a ride through.

• Seed Phrase

These are random words given during your registration process after wallet creation.

The Seed Phrase are very important words that helps in restoring your wallet when using another device or Browser. As Read.Cash has it that your wallet on creaton is automatically saved in your browser, meaning that when logged in using another browser or device, your balance will be displayed at $0.00 until your wallet is being synchronised to that Browser using the Seed Phrase.

Note that, if you misplace your Seed Phrase, even read.cash will be unable to restore your wallet.

• Community

This is a term describing a group of persons sharing the same ideas. A community is usually named based on the topics being provided there with certain rules to be kept.

• Tips

Tips are certain amount of rewards given by persons who are interested in your articles or comments as an upvote in order to encourage you.

• BCH

This is an acronym formed to represent Bitcoin Cash. Your activities here are rewarded in BCH then converted to Dollars. You can actually choose to convert your BCH to any form of crypto when sending.

• Upvotes

This is a process of giving out Tips to a user. Any user can send tips as upvotes or receive tips as upvotes.

• Tipper

This is a term used to represent a person who gives out tips.

• Tipped

This is the amount of tips by the tipper.

• Donor

A donor is someone who pledges to the funds of Read.Cash.

• Pledge

The amount of funds given by a donor to Read.Cash.

• Affiliate

A mechanism where you can sign up other users under your affiliate link.
