I'm still on my Crypto journey and so far it has been great.
I'll be discussing Bitcoin as the BedRock of Cryptocurrencies but before then, I'll love to share this little story of mine.
Earlier today after church service, around 5:00 PM (GMT +1), I decided to attend a Business Meeting at a Church, Salvation Miniseries to be precise. In that meeting, The General Overseer of The Church made mention of this, He said, "If you must succeed in any business you venture in, then you must develop yourself.
You don't just jump into anything without understanding how this things go, You need to develop yourself towards it and My Crypto Journey is my path of developing myself and also others.
Before Now, I wrote an article about Crypto currencies and I included a brief definition of Bitcoin in 10 Most Common Cryptocurrency
But that wasn't all, Some would Ask, Why is Bitcoin so outstanding, I personally call it the Bedrock of Crypto currencies.
This is my reason, From the history of Crypto currency, it was stated that before the emergence of Bitcoin, there were several attempts to Create a virtual currency but was abortive.
Then, a programmer or set of programmers under the alias Satoshi Nakamoto was able to bring forth a sustainable plan, A Virtual currency that could enhance a successful Peer to Peer Transaction, They called it Bitcoin.
From Bitcoin, the aim of designing a virtual currency to be free from government manipulation and control was achieved, although as they have grown more popular this foundational aspect of the industry has come under fire. The currencies modeled after bitcoin are collectively called altcoins and have often tried to present themselves as modified or improved versions of bitcoin.
Announcing the first release of Bitcoin, a new electronic cash system that uses a peer-to-peer network to prevent double-spending. It’s completely decentralized with no server or central authority. – Satoshi Nakamoto, 09 January 2009, announcing Bitcoin on SourceForge.
Since then, other Crypto currencies emerged, existing on the Aims of Satoshi and some making Crypto easier to transact.
