"I think, I thought, I'm thinking and maybe"
The phrases we use when we want to make an assumption.
Merriam-Webster dictionary defines assumption as thinking that something is true or probably true without knowing that it is true. Also without knowing that it is false.
Most of life's mistake we make is as a result of assumptions. Assuming a situation is like playing a cracked disc in your imagination. It played well and you're believing not in totallity or in totality that it will play in your DVD.
It's like betting, you can never tell if you'll win or not, so why make assumptions in the critical decision that has to do with your life.
Think things through before uttering a word or taking a step.
It's okay to make assumptions, of course in some scenario, it's like making a plan B for what might not work out, but when it comes to the technicality of the decisions you ought to make, please do away with assumptions.
"I thought signing the documents was for the CEO"
YOU THOUGHT?
Did you ask the CEO?
Did you make enquires from the office
You only made an assumption which could be disastrous to you and of course your job.
"It's always on Friday, so maybe it will be on Friday"
That's just an assumption!
You might be right and you might be wrong.
Changes occurs in life and so should you change in your reasoning and thought pattern.
Treat the decision making of your life as important, don't bring in unnecessary assumptions so that you won't wait for a train you'll never catch or take a trip that you'll arrive at a wrong destination.
Life is so critical to live on assumptions
