The wrong Medication made my Ear Ache more Severe and Worsened

It was Saturday night, and I suddenly woke up with a severe ache. I felt an intense itching in my right ear. All family members were sleeping so I went for self-medication and took 2 panadol as I was feeling fever also. But panadol didn't help me in lessening the pain. Then I started watching different videos on youtube about ear pain.

I took a cloth and ironed it and then placed it on my ear. This helped me a little bit. Early in the morning, I told my dad about my ear pain, and he took an appointment with a private hospital ( As my uncle told him this is the best hospital having ENT specialists). Around 4 pm, we went to the hospital. He examined my ear and said your eardrum has been damaged. Take this prescription and use these Antibiotics. At that time I was in soo much pain so I didn't pay attention to the medication. My father paid around 10thousand Pakistani Rupees ($47) for medicines and along with doctor's fee.

We came back home and I started taking all the medicines and ear drops. The doctor asked me to avoid eggs, milk, and rice as they can worsen my ear infection. After taking 3 times dosages I felt abrupt throbbing pain circulating around my jaw, neck, and head. The pain was so intense I tried to call my sister but felt dark in front of me and I fell to the ground. My father called my uncle ( he is a doctor too). Luckily he was off duty, he came to our home. At that time he gave me some medicines which he had already with him and advised me to take as many liquids as I can. After some time, he said, show me your prescription. I opened the file and I got shocked that he prescribed me such a heavy dose of antibiotics ( I did extensive research on antibiotic resistance during my MS research, I handled lots of antibiotics so I have lots of information regarding them).

I went to my uncle, he was also got surprised that the doctor recommended such a healthy dose. He said, don't take these antibiotics anymore. Just use augmentin and while taking a bath plug cotton in your ears to avoid the access of water to the eardrum.

It's been 4th day since I am taking augmentin, and my ear infection is getting better day by day alhamdulillah. But I am thinking about why doctors are so cruel these days. They are not working for humanity, they only work to earn money as much as they can. I paid 10 thousand Pakistani rupees and the wrong medication made my infection even more severe.
