First of all I would love to congratulate most of you who are out of the university successful. It's really a thing of joy and relief to actually graduate from a Nigerian university without any problems.

I haven't really been active in here, due to my forth coming exams. I attend the University of Calabar, Calabar. I feel really bitter over some recent information and activities I have witnessed. The situation of some of my course mates are really disturbing. I even heard most of us sell our gadgets just to pay some dues and course registration. Like, the recent hike in our school fees is really disturbing some parents. I know of two of my course mates who have recently dropped out, die to insufficient funds.

I on the other hand would not count my self lucky, to be part of the rest that are still in school. Where would this lead us?? Is education for the rich?? There are some certain things we need to consider, greed is really becoming too common these days. Just for your own selfish interest, you hiked school fees, you increased the amount for course registration, you made textbooks too cost and make it compulsory. Even the students even extort from each other - course representatives.

If you have friends in this particular school, help them out in anyway you can. It would really go a long way in their life.
