The holiday after Eid Al-Fitr in 2022 will end soon.

The vacation is quite long, almost a week and is really used by most of the Muslim community, especially in Indonesia to carry out homecoming activities or recreational activities, apart from the daily routine of working, both in the formal and informal sectors.

This holiday euphoria was also triggered by the easing of cases of the Covid-19 virus, which has plagued this country and other countries for more than two years, so that the homecoming ban is no longer enforced and social restrictions are increasingly relaxed.

But without realizing it, the holiday will soon be over. Most will start their activities and work routines again next week. Usually the effect of a long vacation is that work motivation or mood at the beginning of the work day is still not ON.

There are many things that can affect, including fatigue conditions due to long trips, gathering activities during the holidays, the amount of work that has piled up due to being left behind for a few days, especially work activities that intersect with countries that do not recognize Hari Raya holidays, as well as holiday atmosphere, family gatherings, relatives. and friends that still linger and sometimes continue after the work day begins.

There are several tips that can be done to immediately restore the mood or enthusiasm for work at the beginning of entering the office, among others.

1. Comeback early

Try to come back from vacation at least one day before the work day. Returning earlier will certainly provide time for adequate rest, refresh your mind and feelings after vacation/homecoming activities or fatigue along the way.

2. Make a plan

Make a work plan or To Do List on the first day so that we already have guidelines to do on the first day. Remember, there will be many temptations that can consume your effective time during the first days of work.

There will be a lot of chats or invitations to meet with co-workers to just miss or tell their respective vacation experiences.

3. Prepare work equipment

Prepare and check back on equipment or supplies that are usually carried on weekdays such as bags, notebooks, laptops, clothes, etol cards/train ticket cards and others.

4. Self-motivation

Instill in yourself that you are satisfied with the long vacation and you are grateful to have enjoyed the opportunity.

Motivate yourself that that's enough, you are ready to get back into the routine of work that is the foundation of your life.

5. Wake up early

Getting up and arriving early on the first day will keep your mood and enthusiasm for work on the first days of work.

You will also have enough time to prepare for the job before another coworker arrives.

So some tips that hopefully can be useful for you and restore your motivation because you will start your work soon next week.

Nothing vexes me the more as jumping out of bed early thinking of other person's work. And having to wait until a fixed salary date is reached. That kind is just not for me.

It's okay, because everyone has a different personality, if that makes you feel comfortable. Thanks
