Learn From the Bamboo Tree
Good night friends.
How are you guys? I hope you are all well and healthy. I haven't been on this great platform for a long time. Especially for writing, I haven't visited for the last few months. If I'm not mistaken I was active 3 months ago. Haha
Tonight is me trying to write again, trying to hone my skills again in writing. I hope, i can still think. haha
This afternoon I tried to go to the back of the house, the weather happened to be hot, this is my habit if the weather is hot to look for coolness I will go behind the house to get some wind. Incidentally right behind my house there are still many bamboo trees. That's my favorite place.
In the past, bamboo trees were still very easy to find, on the edge of villages, roads, and riverbanks. Now bamboo trees are hard to find in villages, especially in urban areas. Bamboo trees can still be found if we go to remote villages. I am lucky to live in village, I will still be able to find and see some bamboo trees still survive to this day, although bamboo trees can grow by themselves but there are some people who deliberately plant bamboo trees to protect the bamboo ecosystem.
Bamboo is a type of grass plant that has cavities and segments on its stem. Bamboo has many types. There are bamboos that only reach centimeters in height, but there are also those that are tens of meters high. Some of them are only one or two centimeters in diameter, but some are more than ten centimeters.
There is a specialty in bamboo trees that is very strong bending power. Has high flexibility. I myself very rarely find bamboo trees that break even though they are blown by the wind. The bamboo will remain upright, or only slightly tilted. This flexural strength makes bamboo widely used for tools that require flexibility. For example, fishing rods, household appliances, ropes, and the like.
In contrast to fruit trees whose benefits can be directly enjoyed by humans. Ripe fruit that is picked can be eaten immediately. Bamboo does not have fruit that can be eaten directly. But the bamboo tree has other benefits hidden behind the bamboo clump itself.
Bamboo will have many benefits if it has been processed by skilled hands. Bamboo trees are willing to be touched if touched by skilled hands. The potential of bamboo trees can be realized in many ways, which can make other people amazed. Bamboo can be used as wall decoration, home furnishings, and even high-value works of art.
In addition, learn from the specialty of bamboo trees, namely from flexibility, we as humans must have flexibility or toughness. The existence of flexibility allows us to quickly get back up when we fall and bump into life's problems that we never thought would come. Problems can arise in family life, relationships, education, work, etc.
As humans we are also often unaware or unaware or even blind to the potentials that exist within us. It is this self-consciousness that often hinders our growth and development is not optimal.
So that we can grow and develop optimally, learn from the bamboo tree, which is brave, sincere, and humble to be touched by skilled hands. We must also dare to open ourselves to receive guidance and touch from others in order to develop optimally.
In my area mostly bamboos are cut to make supporters for apartment building or to make marriage tents but slowly we are modernising and using halls and other materials for construction purpose. Infact the place where I live had one huge bamboo tree bush but it was cut and sold for tent making purpose.
