Ingredients:
(Can make up to 60-80 pcs.)
1 kg Ground Chicken
4 pcs. medium-sized Carrots, grated
4-5 pcs. medium-sized Chayote, grated
1/4 kg Kentucky, chopped
Onion, minced
Garlic, minced
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 pcs. Knorr Chicken cubes
Cooking oil
1 box Eden Cheese, julienne cut
2 packs fresh Lumpia wrapper
1 piece egg
Procedure #1: Filling.
Heat pan and add a small amount of oil.
Sauté garlic and onion.
Add ground chicken and knorr chicken cubes, cook until medium brown.
Add kentucky, carrots and chayote. Cook for 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Remove from the heat and drain to get rid of unnecessary grease.
Let cool.
Procedure #2: Wrapping.
Prepare lumpia wrapper.
Put 1-2 tablespoon (or your desired amount) of the filling diagonally, leaving 2 inches allowance at the bottom part of the wrapper.
Add sliced cheese on top of the filling.
Fold the side of the wrapper, following the length of the filling, tuck the end in and neatly roll tight. Moisten the other end by damping small amount of egg wash.
Procedure #3: Frying.
Heat pan in medium fire. Add 1/2 inch depth of cooking oil and heat for another 3-5 minutes.
Fry lumpia rolls until golden brown (approx. 1-2 mins)
Drain on table napkin or paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve hot with sauce.
Gonna try this! I'm selling frozen products like tuna embotido, chorizo, tuna panga, tuna belly, siomai, tuna lumpia, etc. Maybe if I try this recipe and add it to my product list, it will become bestseller too because most of my costumer love my tuna lumpia so i'm going to intriduce some new flavor. Thank you!
