No work in the world is small - we know that, but we have to believe it too! This is-
In Brazil, if a butterfly flutters its wings, the small effect on the weather caused by the fluttering winds may be followed by a tsunami in Japan or a tornado in Texas after many chain reactions ????
Or could a butterfly fluttering its wings in the Himalayas cause a hurricane in the Caribbean????
As surprising as it may sound, there is a lot of scientific reasoning behind it. And that scientific reasoning is not limited to the closed doors of science - human life, society, country, human history - everywhere the story of the storm created by the vibration of that butterfly's wing is hidden. This theory changed many concepts and is one of the key factors in the creation of modern physics because it relies on small differences for large results.
What exactly is The Butterfly Effect?
'Butterfly effect'
It is a Chaos Theory. Chaos theory is the science of wonder, nonlinearity and uncertainty. It teaches us to anticipate unforeseen events. As a result, we become a little more cautious in our way of life. In popular culture, the term “butterfly effect” is almost always misused. It has become synonymous with “leverage”—the idea of a small thing that has a big impact, with the implication that, like a lever, it can be manipulated to a desired end. The reality is that small things in a complex system may have no effect or a massive one and it is virtually impossible to know which will turn out to be the case.
Is The Butterfly Effect a real thing?
The answer might surprise you. The Butterfly Effect isn’t just one simple idea; it encompasses a set of mathematical discoveries that have been expressed in different ways at different times. Butterfly theory was initially applied to meteorology, but in recent years, the theory has been applied to other fields including mathematics, physics, and economics. This paper applies butterfly theory to matters of crisis management in public administration.
In order to make use of the butterfly effect, NASA scientists must study highly accurate models of satellites in the solar system.
Whilst Butterfly wings can be used to do some amazing things, do they really have the power to change the weather?
The butterfly effect is the idea that small things can have non-linear impacts on a complex system. The concept is imagined with a butterfly flapping its wings and causing a typhoon. Of course, a single act like the butterfly flapping its wings cannot cause a typhoon. Small events can, however, serve as catalysts that act on starting conditions. Some systems … are very sensitive to their starting conditions, so that a tiny difference in the initial ‘push’ you give them causes a big difference in where they end up, and there is feedback, so that what a system does affects its own behavior. It affects the economy of the country ... the world economy ... and ultimately it affects the whole universe.
Well, let's take a look at our daily routine:
The simple example of the butterfly theory is reflected in our daily lives. You get so much pleasure in calling one of your classmates ‘elephant or black’, have you ever thought that this ugly pleasure of yours for a few seconds could actually be the reason for the girl crying in frustration over her body shape in the mirror back home???
Sometimes a very small thing, a little encouragement can change a person's life! So one should always try to encourage people, to appreciate their quality. You may not even know that this little beautiful use of you to smile and talk to people on the street, in the market, in vehicles can make the mind of the person next to you very good! And if you think that your life is nothing, that what you do is meaningless, then you are wrong, because-
Everything you do matters !!
There are also many examples of how small things can have a big impact in real life and they can be compared to the butterfly effect:
For example, being seriously injured in a car accident is an unexpected event. But in anticipation of this unexpected event we use airbags, seatbelts in cars. The extent of the impact of the above event is very small. The Butterfly Effect is a chaos theory that has far-reaching effects. It is said that the movement of a butterfly's wings in one end of the earth can cause a whirlwind in the other end of the earth if the wingspan of the butterfly is at the exact point. In other words, if the butterfly had not moved its wings at the exact spot at that time, the cyclone would not have occurred
.
Suppose today is a Friday holiday I called you and invited you to my house. You told the driver to get out of the car in an attempt to start the journey to my house. Due to holidays you have to request your driver, your driver is forced to change his pre-planned plan. He told his wife not to eat at home today. Your wife changed her plan in cooking. After inviting you to my house, my wife changed her cooking. After your car hit the road, the speed of many other cars changed to keep pace with the speed of your car. But your position is also responsible for changing the position of all of them in a four-dimensional way. And because of the change in their four-dimensional position, the four-dimensional spatial change also happened to all those directly related to them.
This change is indirect to you.
But a small move in your car can save someone's life or even cause someone's death. If you didn't drive today, your car wouldn't occupy any four-dimensional space on the road. If your car is on the road, the movement of other cars will be different from the movement of your car. And this different movement will change the movement of all the cars on the road. And maybe someone's survival depends on this little change.
CHANGING ONE THING, CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING.
Another interesting example:
When Ikhtiyaruddin Muhammad, son of Bakhtiyar Khilji, entered the Bengal border with his cavalry, there were no nails in the stables of the border post. Due to the lack of that nail, the hoof of the ambassador's horse could not be hooked, because the hoof was not fitted, the horse without the hoof also went fast along with the ambassador fell repeatedly in the path. Due to the obstruction of the road, the ambassador could not report in time, and due to lack of accurate information, Raja Lakshman Sen and his courtiers remained confused till the last moment. Probably a factor as to why they're doing so poorly. They've probably considered the East Case Scenario first, and Ikhtiyaruddin Muhammad's cavalry must have been a formidable vanguard of a huge expeditionary force. Like any game in chess , the king is the symbol of the sovereignty of the state, which in modern martial arts is called the center of gravity. The fall of the king means the end of the war. So on the advice of the courtiers, Raja Lakshman Sen left the palace, and it is written in the pages of history, ..then Ikhtiyaruddin Muhammad conquered Bengal with a total of 18 cavalrymen. Then, sigh!
We can see how terrible the consequences of a little carelessness can be.
Origin of the concept of butterfly effect:
It is generally thought that the events that could change the world include the atomic bomb, the insane politician, the massive earthquake or a mass movement. But because of modern thinking, people have come to realize that these are actually their misconceptions. According to Chaos Theory, the change of tiny things or events can change the whole world.Although there is little debate about the butterfly effect, Edward Lorenz was first credited with identifying this theory.
Edward Lorenz was a professor of meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a mathematician who was the first to talk about the butterfly effect. He basically merged these two branches of his, namely meteorology and mathematics, and established Chaos Theory
.
In 1960 he was looking for a new way to forecast the weather. Because the model that was common, it was very challenging to make accurate predictions. It was from this discovery that he discovered the butterfly effect as a new theory with the help of mathematics.
The science of strange, non-linear and uncertain events is usually called chaos or the science of chaos.
Other branches of science generally deal with the phenomena of linear, mathematical, and specific results, such as electrical science, gravity, or chemical reactions. In these cases, it is possible to calculate the value that can be found for a certain value or for certain conditions. But chaos theory usually describes events that cannot be accurately predicted. Notable among these are the stock market, weather, human psychology, business, etc. - about which it is not possible to say anything specific. However,
Lorenz's question about the fluttering of a butterfly's wing did not mean that a tornado actually occurs when a butterfly flutters its wings in one part of the world. Rather, he wanted to show through this strange question how much the properties of a system can change due to small changes in a large and complex system.
He used this new theory to calculate the weather forecast. Lorenz uses a mathematical value as a prerequisite for forecasting the weather, which is 0.506. This value was actually a little wider, meaning there were more digits after the decimal. Its value was 0.506126. When he counted six digits after the decimal, a value came up. But when he calculated with three digits after the decimal, that result was very different from the previous result. However, only three digits were omitted after the decimal point, but the results showed many changes. In this way he assigns about 12 values to the computer program (these values were mainly temperature, wind speed, humidity, etc.).
From this, Lorenz concludes that the effect of a slight change in the quality of the weather forecast on the weather is not small at all, but widespread. This is how the chaotic theory called the butterfly effect was born. Simply put, the slightest change in the direction of an event can change the whole outcome! Butterfly effect is a lot like law of gravity! This is the law of sensitive dependence upon initial conditions !!!
It's not just about butterflies, it's about any moving matter, including humans !!!
Not just the weather, it has an effect on our daily lives. Our daily small deeds, small thoughts later bring big changes in our lives. In that word-
“Tiny little sand, drop by drop water ….. forms the continent."
Did you know that you are related to Nicolas Maduro, who lives in Venezuela? Or, does your father influence Neymar's in Brazil?
No wonder. The above events are fictional. But it is 100 percent true that all the people of this world are affected in some way by each other's work. This theory is called "Theory of Chaos", one of the results of which is The Butterfly Effect.
What is the basis of this theory ???
The basis of this theory is: Any small action can significantly change the end result or outcome of an event. The "Theory of Chaos" was the first to be published in the 1880's. But the most plausible explanation is given by the American mathematician Edward Norton Lorenz. He showed mathematically that if any wave in the world changed slightly, that change would significantly change all the other waves in the world. This can be explained by the superposition of the wave.
He said, for example, that a butterfly fluttering its wings in Brazil could result in a hurricane in Texas, USA. He really meant it ... the consequences of any small action can be far greater.
What is the relationship of butterfly with butterfly effect ????
Edward Lorenz published his research paper in the form of a paper entitled Deterministic Nonperiodic Flow. It was later awarded. The gist of his dissertation was that the weather forecasting models were not completely accurate. This is because it is not possible to find or calculate the initial condition value correctly. At the same time, small changes can cause huge changes in the forecast. In order to make this theory understandable to the common man, Lorenz gave the idea of the butterfly effect. This concept is also called the 'sensitive dependence of the initial conditions' on the system.
But there is another reason behind calling this effect the 'butterfly effect':
When Lorenz was working on his weather forecast model, he used a variety of weather factors, such as temperature, wind speed, and humidity, as mentioned earlier. So he saw that he was getting different results every time. He is in no way able to recreate a specific result. He also tried to change the values of different influencers, but each time different results came. Putting these values into a graph gives a graph that looks a lot like a butterfly.
That is why the name of the butterfly is associated with this theory.
There are some historical facts about the butterfly effect:
Some of the notable ones are-

Atomic bomb detonation in Nagasaki:
It is difficult to find people who do not know the horrors of the US atomic bombing in Nagasaki, Japan. But the fact is that US pilots were not supposed to drop an atomic bomb on Nagasaki that day. Their target was Kuroko, another city in Japan. Kuroko's military base was their main target. But when the U.S. bomber flew over Kuroko, there were clouds in the sky. The pilots did not see the arsenal through the clouds. They tried three times to hit the target. But that was not possible just because of the clouds. As a result, US pilots decided to bomb Nagasaki and that is what happened. It was this little cloud that saved the city of Kuroko from this horrific bombing. On the other hand, due to this little cloud, Nagasaki was destroyed without being a target of US pilots.
The city of Kuroko is therefore called the lucky city of Japan.
Because of the little clouds, the situation in the two cities is different, but it was not supposed to happen, this butterfly effect is also seen here.

WAR OF THE COW:
Then in the year 1275. A farmer in the Belgian state of Zalet stole a cow from the neighboring state of Kondroj. However, his fortune is bad, he was caught selling in the market. The then-leading people of the state of Conrad offered him that if he returned the cow to its owner, they would forgive him. The farmer returned the cow as promised, but as soon as the cow was returned he had to be hanged. The king of the Zalet kingdom did not take the matter lightly. In this incident he got severely angry, the consequences of which were terrible. The death penalty for a minor crime that could have been a few months in prison! He considered the incident an extreme blow to his self-esteem by the King of Zalet and immediately declared war. The effects of this war, which began with appropriate punishment for the king of Kondroj, were far-reaching. The war started with the theft of a few cows and lasted for almost three years.
Their bloody war spread to neighboring states. The protracted war destroyed 15,000 people and 80 villages in the state of Kondroj, including four states. About one and a half lakh soldiers were killed in the war. In the history of Belgium, this war is known as "The Guerre de la Vache" or "War of the cow".
While this bloody battle may seem ridiculous depending on the theft of the little cow, it is a great example of the butterfly effect.

World War I began with a massacre:
Gavrilo Princip, a native of Serbia, assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife in the Bosnian capital. And to avenge that murder, Austria declared war on Serbia, then the flames of war ignited on the powerful countries of Europe. In just fifteen days to avenge those two killings, almost every country in Europe declared war on each other - World War I began.
Sociologists were stunned by the horrific and tragic consequences of that horrific world war that killed and wounded nearly fifteen million people - and that meaningless war, which began with a small incident. Even at the end of World War I, the remnants of that violence remained - Hitler was coming up, and in a few days the world saw a more horrific World War II.
The real cause of the two world wars of the last century was very small.
One hundred years before the First World War, when the system of European countries was stable, the system saw two world wars in the same century for a small reason.
So there is no such thing as stability in the world?
This is the kind of big event that happens on the face of the earth for small reasons that brings instability to society - sociologists wonder. People then knew that all the natural laws, weather, politics, economy in the heart of the earth are very disciplined, arranged. One small incident can ruin the whole system, some kind of math and any solution that works for that event ..... it was not known.
Twentieth-century modern science answers that impermanence - gave birth to a new branch of mathematics, a new theory - Chaos theory.
In 2004, a film called The Butterfly Effect was released. Directed by Eric Race and Jay McKay Graber, the film seeks to change some of the past. Similar to the butterfly effect, some other effects are becoming visible in the society. If one thing happens, many similar things happen in the near future. Attempts are made to explain it through various theories including Media Effect, Cultivation Theory, Social Action Theory. Research is also underway into what kind of psychology works behind the recurrence of similar events.
There are two types of recurrence:
Positive and negative. Some psychologists say that repetition of events happens due to imitation tendency. Some events provoke human protest. As a result, similar protest incidents are visible in different places. On the other hand, some incidents can awaken the criminal mind of the people. As a result, the person may focus on the organization of the crime by applying the same strategy.
In the end, if I say my opinion, it is-
There's this chaos theory that a simple flutter of a butterfly's wing can change a situation completely. This is a type of theory that you either believe in or you don't. I think that this theory can absolutely tie into the belief of predestination.
Do we or do we not have a set path of where our lives will lead us in the end?
This is where we have the choice to believe. I believe that we do indeed have a predestination. I feel that we have a road ahead of us and that we have a final destination. However, I believe that we have the choice to change where we end up. You may have a strong feeling telling you to go one way but you have the will to choose to go the other way instead. We have the choice and will to direct how our lives will end up for the most part. Clearly we cannot change the fact that people die, get diagnosed with cancer, and many other mental and physical illnesses. We do have the choice to choose when to spend our money, where we go, who we love and who we hate. We have choices to make our lives better or make them worse.
JUST THINK OF YOUR MIND AS A MOVIE, YOU CAN PAUSE, REWIND OR SLOW DOWN ANY DETAILS YOU WANT.
But to stress the real question, can the simple flutter of a butterfly's wing change situations that occur in our lives?
In my opinion I think so, I think that it can in fact shift certain situations and throw new challenges and obstacles in our way. However, with agreeing to this chaos theory, I do believe that no matter how many times a butterfly will flutter their wings, we can reroute ourselves and overcome things no matter what changes are ahead of us.
We all write the story of our present with the future in mind, if just one step of yours can change a thousand possibilities, think .... maybe someone else in some part of the universe is changing your future too!
Now you think about your actions, your decision today and work accordingly will depend on the good or bad butterfly effect in your future life !!
YOUR ACTIONS HAVE VALUE FAR GREATER THAN SILVER OR GOLD.
