There is no way to say that the world is moving forward. As the day progresses, so the pace of progress is increasing. Many advances have been made in the fields of technological development, science, information technology, modernity, glamor, visual modernization, infrastructural development, etc. There is no room for doubt. But the question is ... what is the main reason behind this development ???? What is our point of view ??? Humanitarian or commercial ????. The simple answer is that we have a commercial vision at the heart of this development. So if we look at the world from a commercial point of view, it can be said that the world is moving forward ... but it can be said that there is no progress in the human side.

It is not desirable for us to rely only on instruments, to advance technology but not humanity. The commercial view has been established today in such a way that the people of the society just see what a person is doing by earning money! It is easy to be established in the society with the help of a lot of money. But the society does not test the way people earned money !! And the spread of this culture has led to growing instability around the world. Exploitation, deprivation and inequality are increasing at a faster rate than the geometric rate. Where is the end of this deprivation - no one can say. In order to ensure the real welfare of the people, the human aspect must be expanded. In the present world system, we have to get out of the relentless effort to expand the commercial outlook by excluding humanity. First we have to establish a humane attitude, then we have to think of commercialism. Only then will the welfare of the people be achieved. And this will ensure the welfare of the country and the nation.

Recently, a great hero set a shining example all over the world. He is none other than Tom Moore, a centenarian soldier. Another identity of Tom Moore, a centenarian retired private officer, is that he was a captain in the British Army during World War II. At this age, he thinks of raising funds on foot from the urge to do something for the people. Tom lives in Marston Morettein, Bedfordshire, UK. Tom Moore was born in West Worcestershire, United Kingdom. He joined the British Army in 1940 at the age of 20. One year later, on the twenty-first birthday, the second lieutenant passed. He later served in India and was promoted to the rank of Captain.

Tom came up with the idea of raising funds with the encouragement of his younger daughter Hannah. At the same time gratitude to the NHS also works. Because, he gets excellent treatment for various diseases including skin cancer. And that is from the NHS.

On April 6,2020, he planned to walk in the back garden of his house. It may seem that this work is nothing ! However, it is not at all easy for a 99-year-old man to walk every day at a height of 82 feet. Because, he has to take the help of a kind of walker for walking. Yet Tom did not hesitate. About 4 core pounds has been raised from that walk. Hannah opened a fundraising page in her father's name on Instagram and created a Just Giving account. Their initial goal was to raise a thousand pounds. However, 4 million is credited to the account in a week. Tom Moore has made many times more money than he expected. About 160,000 people have extended a helping hand. And fathers and daughters are overwhelmed by this love of a large number of people.

Tom Moore, the hero of World War II, raised 4 million by walking in the garden on his 100th birthday to help Britain's National Health Service (NHS) fight the pandemic coronavirus. His example of humanity at this age shook the whole world.

Tom Moore was knighted on July 17, 2020 by Queen Elizabeth II, a 94-year-old British woman, for his humanitarian efforts to encourage health workers in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic. A unique ceremony was held at Windsor Castle to honor him with the knighthood. Tom Moore was promoted to honorary colonel on the occasion of his 100th birthday. This time he got the knighthood directly from the queen.

A knight is a person who receives an honorary title from a ruler or country in recognition of his work, especially for military service, given by that ruler or other political leader. Historically, cavalry warriors in Europe were usually awarded knighthoods. In the Middle Ages, knighthood was considered a lower class elite. Towards the end of the Middle Ages, this hierarchy became known as an indicator of heroism. The knight is basically a feudal lord who collects his revenue as a warrior of an aristocratic man. We should all stand by the people with humanity.
