Movie Review: Underwater 2020

First off as the title says "Underwater". Of course the plot of the story used a lot of water in this movie, every person was submerge (obviously 😑). The crew is basically finding their way out to get back to the surface to save thier lives to survive (this is where you will feel the thrill of each and everyone of the character doing their best to survive).

The characters are working in a drilling company (and as we understand that if we drill something, whether it is shallow or deep we will find something in there). Well in this movie, they drilled too deep and uncover the unknown which also you can say that they encountered what is was and in which in this part the main reason why the characters struggles to get away with to survive.

Like in other movies with the same genre of survival that in every struggle to survive, there is/are always casualties. Some of the characters died as the story keeps going forward, but in which for the good part also to help the others to escape or make their way for survival (you know those "clichés", just for the sample line of those supporting characters "let go of my hand and move on along" so that the protagonist can survive and make the story continue 😏). That said, the main character will do their best (for the thrilling part in which we viewers can also feel the the feelings of those charactes in struggling to survive) in surviving in making their way to escape the unknown to save their dear life (and friends 😌).

All in all, this kind of genre of the movie is not new to me but still I enjoyed watching it because of the visual effects or as called CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery), the thrill and curiousity of what is the unknown that was haunting them that which they are escaping to for their survival.

I will rate this movie from the scale of one to ten as 8/10. I recommend that you watch this movie if you are into survival, mystery and thriller genre. Also with those great visual effects used in this kinds of movies.
