Hello everyone I'm sorry for not been able to write something yesterday, because of much activity in my primary place of assignments....so this morning I want to share some key benefits of taking honey 🍯...when I mean HONEY, IT'S THE RAW HONEY NOT THE FAKE ONE... So some of the key benefits are below....

1. HONEY TREATS SORE THROAT

Honey mixed in tea or taken on its own is a common household remedy for a sore throat. One study found that honey was even more effective at taming nighttime coughs than common cough suppressants. Other research shows that honey is an effective wound healer, which means it may help speed healing for sore throats.

2. HONEY TREATS STOMACH ULCERS

Because of the composition of raw honey, bacteria cannot survive within its environment. Raw Honey is also known to kill the H. Pylori bacteria, which is the primary cause of peptic ulcers. Recent research shows that honey can be used to treat stomach ulcers. To verify their hypothesis, researchers tested honey on bacteria from the biopsies of gastric ulcers. As a result, the honey inhibited bacterial growth.

3. IMPROVED MEMORY

Honey has the ability to fight stress, restore the cellular antioxidant defense system, and as a consequence, improve memory. Besides, the calcium contained in honey is easily ingested by the brain, which has a beneficial effect on its functioning.

4. LOWERED CHOLESTEROL LEVEL

Honey has no cholesterol at all. Quite the contrary: its constituent components and vitamins contribute to decreasing levels of cholesterol.

5. MAY REDUCE COUGHING IN CHILDREN

Children are prone to upper respiratory tract infections which can cause coughing.

Honey is rich in honey, which may help reduce coughing in children. However, it shouldn’t be given to children under one year old due to the risk of botulism.

6. TO BURN FAT

Honey acts as a fuel to make the liver produce glucose. This glucose keeps the brain sugar levels high and forces it to release fat burning hormones. To benefit from the honey diet, simply replace your sugar intake with honey, throughout the day.

7. IMPROVES ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

Honey is an excellent ergogenic aid and helps in boosting the performance of athletes. It is a great way to maintain blood sugar levels, recuperate muscles, and restore glycogen after a workout, as well as regulate the amount of insulin in the body.

8. RICH IN VITAMINS & MINERALS

It contains a variety of vitamins and minerals. The type of vitamins and minerals and their quantity depends on the type of flowers used for apiculture. Commonly, honey contains vitamin C, calcium, and iron. If you check the vitamin and mineral content in regular sugar from any other source, you will find it completely insignificant.

9. SKIN CARE

Milk and honey are often served together since both of these ingredients help in creating smooth, beautiful skin. Consuming this combination every morning is a common practice in many countries for this very reason.

10. PROMOTES QUALITY SLEEP

The sugar contained in honey increases the level of insulin in the blood, which then releases serotonin. Serotonin is further transformed into melatonin, a hormone that promotes quality sleep.

11. GOOD FOR THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

If you suffer from indigestion, incorporating honey into your diet is definitely one way to get your digestive system back in working order as it neutralizes gases and relieves acidity.

IN CONCLUSION

We're to be very careful in purchasing of Raw honey 🍯 because they are many fake out there in the market, and we should know how to differentiate between the fake and the real honey before buying.. and also there are many benefits which honey have that I didn't mention here....

I know of the honey as cute for cough. I remember those days at home when raw honey is available, once there's a slight cough, that's an opportunity to go and lick honey 😋
