Memories From The Past With My Family Blog #326 August 09, 2022 Days and years had quickly passed but the memories that we had with our family still lingers in our mind. It makes me smile remembering those days spent with my family and I miss those times when we can still plan an outing with the whole family. Now that I'm far from them, all I could do was remember those old days that I had spent with them.

This photo was taken when we went to Simala with the whole family along with our neighbors who are also close to us and up to now, they are still. The kids are still so cute here. If I'm not mistaken, my niece and stepbrother were 2 years old, and Aeron, my eldest was still 11 months old. When we reached Simala, after unloading the things including the food that we brought, the next thing we did was find a spot where all of us can stay and eat because it was almost lunchtime when we get there and we were hungry already. After eating, it's time to visit the shrine of Mother Mary and offer our prayers.

****A day at Mactan Benito Ebuen Air Base Chapel**** It was last August 2015 when, my sister, stepmom, and sister-in-law went to Mactan Air Base Chapel to attend a seminar. It was a 2-hour seminar yet not a boring one because the hosts threw jokes after a serious discussion. After the seminar, we went to the office to get the Baptismal certificate for the kids and then went out and seated on one of the benches near the chapel. We took lots of photos in that spot and when we were done, we transferred to another place where the statue of Mother Mary is. We also take photos in that spot and when we noticed that it was 4 in the afternoon, we then decided to start heading back home. As we walk along the way going to the jeepney stopped, we spotted the Botanical Garden so we stopped for a while and take photos again. After, we immediately walked to where the jeepneys were and headed back home. It was a day full of fun together with them. Having a stepmom, who is bubbly makes the day more memorable and enjoyable because we always laughed at her funny thoughts. That's all for today! Happy Tuesday! Thanks for dropping by!
