1. Introduce yourself, what is your background and how did you become interested in gaming?

My name is Adrian Machowski, I am 31 years old and live in Germany. During my professional career I became a system administrator and took care of network structures and servers. Over time, however, I quickly realized that I much prefer planning and leading projects. Later, I worked as a project manager for large, well-known international companies, helping them implement their IT projects and providing them with technical support.

I am currently working on the ASHWICK NFT Trading Card Game. I want Ashwick to reach as many people as possible. People should have fun while playing. I also want to enlarge and strengthen the sBCH community.

2. NFT gaming is still a niche in gaming, what made you venture into the world of NFT gaming?

I've always loved to play as a little kid. Whether on the computer or with cards. It was nice for me to dive into this fantasy world. At some point I got my first computer and my parents couldn't stop me from using it. That was still a Pentium 1 machine with a whopping 75 MHz performance. Every game was still pixelated and the graphics can no longer be compared with today's games. I played games like "Simon the Sorcerer" or "Worms". Those were great games that I fondly remember. Simon, I played through about 50 because I just like the story.

NFTs are collectable and in the actual sense do not differ from real collectible objects, apart from the fact that they are digital and can be exchanged or traded with them anywhere in the world. This aspect of the game got me excited about the new possibilities in the world of gaming.

3. How do you think Ashwick is different from other NFT projects?

There are of course a variety of other NFT games. Many of these NFT games are based on Ethereum and make it very expensive for players to play. At ETH there are very high transaction fees that are simply not the case with SmartBCH. Many of these games are expensive not just while playing. Also some of these games require very complex graphics, to play them. In addition, some games can be complicated. Understanding them either takes a long time or makes you lose the desire to play the game before you even start.

I believe in building an NFT card game which is accessible to everyone with an internet connection which is easy to understand and simple to play. This is my goal with Ashwick.

This is how ashwick compares with other games:

1. ASHWICK NFT doesn’t have a lot of rules.

2. If a card has an ability, it is written on the card without having to look anywhere else to find out what that ability does.

3. The basic rules can be learned quickly by anyone. No matter what age the person is.

4. A simple 2D graphic that is nevertheless based on a beautiful and high quality design

5. A cross-platform game that can be played by anyone in the world.

4. Can you give us an overview of the Ashwick game?

ASHWICK is played on ASHPLANET. The country there is called "Mildrad". There are many different types of mountains there. From the deepest forest to the thickest swamp. From ice to fire. Here two players fight a strategic battle with their NFT cards.

5. A NFT based trading card game is cool. How many characters are being planned for the launch. Can you explain a little bit about them?

There will be, for the beginning, 300 different characters, with different rarity levels. Each character, as briefly stated above, has an element. An example: If I attack a nature card with a fire card, twice the damage is added to the nature card that the fire card would normally cause damage to another element. Of course, all rarities and elements are included. There will also be trap cards and magic cards. You have to play the game once, to understand how it works.

6. Can you talk a little bit more about the game play? How is the gaming part going to work?

ASHWICK NFT will have two stages. One where you get to know and practice the game or one where you can fight directly against different human players in the world. In "practice mode" the player cannot use his own NFT cards. Random cards are assigned to him and the player can only fight against one NPC (Non-Player Character). The second one is the player vs player mode where players can use their NFTs to fight with each other. Here it is possible to place bets such as cards or ASHCOINs. These will be transferred to the winner of the game after the fight. It will of course also be possible to play without a wager.

Each player will get 17 seconds for one move each time. If the time runs out, the player skips his turn. Thus, another element is built in to shake up the skill and strategic thinking of the player. If one player then loses against the other, the winner receives the previously agreed stake. Friendly games will also be possible as not everyone always wants to bet. Once a bet has been placed, it will no longer be possible to abandon the game. This ensures that a player who is about to lose does not leave the game in order to get his bet back. There will also be a leaderboard that can be viewed by any player in the world.

7. What are the main goals for the BCHPAD campaign?

The main goals are mainly focused on being able to develop the game. We need the support of

professionals who specialize in developing games. However, in order to be able to pay professionals, we very much hope for financial support from the BCH community. Every penny we get from this will go into the development of the game.

8. What is Ashcoin and what is the role of Ashcoin in Ashwick Universe?

ASHCOIN is the currency token used inside the Ashwick economy. ASHCOINs can be used to buy booster packs or to trade them on exchanges. They can be used for:

  • ASHWICKNFTs (ASHCARDs)

  • Booster packs with 6 cards

  • ASHCARDs from other players who want to sell their cards

  • Limited editions of cards from ASHWICK NFTs

  • Trading on crypto exchanges

  • Purchase of different PowerUps

  • Buy teleportations to get to other metaverse

9. Sounds cool how can a player acquire Ashcoins for the game?

The player will be able to buy the "coin" on crypto exchanges or directly on the ASHWICK homepage, the ASHMARKET or they can participate on the upcoming presale for ASHCOINs over BCHpad.

10. Enter the sphere is a cool NFT project, could you tell us a little bit more about your affiliation with Enter the sphere?

The ASHPLANET is part of the ETS metaverse. From the planet of ETS it will be possible to fly to the ASHPLANET so that you can go on new adventures. Above all, with the cooperation between ETS and ASHWICK, we want to showcase the spirit of BCH as a huge cooperative community. The games work better when they work and the teams collaborate with each other.

Above all, each of us can benefit again. You're stronger together than alone.

11. How will the Ashwick project benefit the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem as a whole?

Since BCH is currently benefiting from the SmartBCH sidechain, which is based on Ethereum's EVMs, it is now very important to build projects on this chain and to make the code that runs in the background of ASHWICK freely available under an open source license. In this way, new ideas and projects can arise and the entire BCH community will benefit positively from this. The more serious projects arise, the higher the value of the underlying currency.

12. Can you let us know more about the technical details for the game play, NFT cards and Ashcoins? Which platform are going to be built upon?

The NFT cards are currently on the Bitcoin cash blockchain and run under the SIMPLELEDGER protocol. SLP supports NFTs. However, ASHCOIN is currently on the SmartBCH sidechain of BCH. In the future we will create the NFTs based on SmartBCH and move the existing NFTs to the SmartBCH. Things like farming, staking and liquidity pools will then become possible here. We also want to distribute dividends in the form of ASHCOINs.

13. Is Ashwick going to be a multiplatform game? Meaning will it support all major platforms enabling everyone to play?

Initially, ASHWICK should only run in the web browser. This is how most people in the world can play. It is designed in 2D, so no one is forced to spend money on a more powerful device.

There may be an app and high graphic versions later. But for now, we are focussing on the 2D version, to attract as many people for the game and smartBCH, as possible.

14. For those who are interested in knowing more about the project, where can they find more details?
