THE BCHF CELEBRATES 1 YEAR OF ACTIVITY!

The Bitcoin Cash Foundation has been active for over a year now bringing you 49 weekly news articles in text as well as video across almost 20 platforms. But that is not all! In the lead up to the BCH upgrade we contacted approximately 300 projects and people to make sure they were ready for the upgrade and also provide up to 3 FREE BCH stickers to any merchant that wants them anywhere in the world. ZAPIT WALLET PEER TO PEER EXCHANGE ADDS FILTERS

Zapit, a popular Bitcoin Cash wallet, has recently introduced an innovative feature in its built-in Peer to Peer exchange — advanced filters. This new functionality allows users to streamline their trading experience by filtering other users based on several criteria. These include Rating, Email/Phone verification, Completion Rate, and Total Number of Trades. This enhancement in the Zapit wallet empowers users to have more control over their trades, marking a significant step forward for peer to peer electronic cash.

BCHFAQ REPORTS THEY HAVE DELIVERED ON THEIR FIRST FLIPSTARTER

The BCHFAQ Flipstarter Phase 1 has been completed. The community-funded project has resulted in a platform with a landing page, blog, and knowledge base. The website features 12 blog posts on Bitcoin Cash-related topics. Despite some delays, the project has delivered BCH-centric content, with a 2% average click-through rate. The team is committed to maintaining and expanding the site’s content. NEW FULCRUM RELEASE VERSION 1.11.0

Fulcrum, a fast SPV server for Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin BTC, and Litecoin, has released its new version 1.11.0. The update brings performance improvements and an upgrade to RocksDB 9.2.1. The Linux pre-built binary now statically links libstdc++, enhancing compatibility across systems. However, the updated RocksDB in the release binary means users cannot revert to previous Fulcrum versions before 1.11.0 with the same data directory. The release also includes various other changes such as renaming CLI/conf file options, switching the codebase to use C++20, and fixes for compatibility between data directories copied between Windows & Unix.

CASHONIZE DESKTOP WALLET V0.1.1 OUT

Cashonize, a Bitcoin Cash WebWallet with CashTokens support, has released its desktop version 0.1.1 for Windows. The new release allows users to configure the blockexplorer setting and includes improvements such as handling insufficient BCH balance for token transactions and refreshing the token list after a burn. The wallet, which supports both BCH mainnet and chipnet, has been instrumental in testing the CashTokens upgrade and addressing issues in the mainnet-js library. An ongoing rewrite of the codebase, Cashonize-quasar, introduces additional features and improvements, differing from the mainline Cashonize webwallet.

BINANCE PAY NOW ACCEPTS BITCOIN CASH

Binance Pay has expanded its services to include Bitcoin Cash (BCH) among its accepted payment methods. This development allows businesses to accept BCH and over 80 other cryptocurrencies, connecting them to Binance Pay’s ecosystem of 30 million users. With this integration, businesses can tap into Binance’s network of over 170 million users and BCH holders. Binance Pay offers instant, real-time settlement with zero gas fees for users and merchants, lower transaction fees, and provides merchant dashboards and reporting.
