GENERAL PROTOCOLS TWITTER SPACES SERIES CONTINUES WITH ANOTHER ON SCALING

General Protocols, in its latest Twitter Space titled ‘General Bull 28 of n — Scaling all the things’, The conversation centered around scaling Bitcoin Cash and what that means beyond just the block size now that it is more or less no longer an issue given that BCH has been successfully upgraded to include ABLA ( Adaptive Blocksize Limit Algorithm). There is a lot more that goes into the “capacity” or ability of a network to process transactions that are potential bottlenecks. For the full discussion check out the General Protocols youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@generalprotocols

ELECTRON CASH 4.4.1 UPDATE AVAILABLE

The Electron Cash wallet has released version 4.4.1, a bugfix update that addresses several issues, notably a critical bug in the Windows Portable version that led to the deletion of the wallet directory. Users are encouraged to upgrade promptly, especially those using the affected Windows Portable version. This release also includes updates such as native architecture builds on macOS, PyOpenSSL upgrade to version 24.1.0, improved AppImage reproducibility, and additional advanced features for the console tab, enhancing the wallet’s functionality with CashFusion, CashTokens, and RPA support.

BADGERS BADGERS BADGERS BADGERS BADGERS

Sayoshi Nakamario (the creator of helpme.cash) presents: BadgerCoin! A meme coin that serves as proof of Bitcoin Cash ownership, created by locking BCH into a contract. It features no premine or reserved tokens for developers or investors, ensuring fairness. Locking transactions incur a fee of 2000 satoshis, split between miner and lock fees, with the latter withdrawable by the admin and adjustable to prevent spam. Rewards are calculated linearly, with 1 BadgerCoin representing 1 BCH locked for 1 block. Unlocking also yields a HoneyNFT, which records the number of BadgerCoins earned. Future plans include redeeming BadgerCoins for discounts on HoneyBadger NFTs.

PAYTACA WALLET APP GETS AN UPDATE

The v0.18 release is currently available only to Android and Chrome extension users, as the iOS version is still pending App Store review.
