BCH BULL upgrading with the BCH Network

In May 2022, the Bitcoin Cash network will upgrade, significantly improving scripting power with native introspection and better math.

The BCH BULL web application is built on the AnyHedge protocol (created by General Protocols) and will become one of the first, active decentralised finance applications on a UTXO blockchain.

The Bitcoin Cash May 2022 upgrade will afford the AnyHedge smart contract a number of major advantages, including improving its smart contract precision and efficiency and reducing future barriers to development.

With these upcoming computational power improvements to the AnyHedge protocol, the BCH BULL will also be delaying the public launch of the application in order to fully harness these upgrades and integrate them into our service.

From a practical perspective, this will allow:

• Users of BCH Bull to create larger smart contracts with bigger BCH amounts

• More precision in oracle price determination and contract settlement

• More efficient coding

• Smaller transaction sizes

• Easier maintenance of the platform

Although this may result in a delayed public start to the BCH Bull web application, development continues at high speed to integrate these exciting updates, which will result in a more robust, reliable, and ground-breaking product for the BCH ecosystem!

We will continue to provide ongoing updates to the BCH community as we hope formal testing of the web application will begin in earnest in 2022.
