Is it true that Eid al-Fitr is a day of victory?
In Indonesia, Eid is also known as the day of victory. The victory that is meant here is being able to fast, being able to withstand Satan's disturbances, holding back anger, giving alms, and other worship during the month of fasting.
According to the General Chairperson of PP Muhammadiyah through Republika.com, he stated that victory on the holiday belongs to those who win in controlling their passions. The victory, he said, made them always think and behave positively. With that victory, they became a complete person.
Those who win are those who have been able to achieve the values of Ramadan. The embodiment or embodiment of victory will be seen in the extent to which hablum minallah in the form of worship worship can be incarnated in hablum minannas.
Predicate as a winner requires the ability to defend. The trick is to maintain positive traditions that have been carried out during the holy month of Ramadan. Even though Ramadan is over, we must always maintain the quantity and quality of worship to Allah.
The real victory is that after Ramadan ends what we have done during the month of fasting we still try to maintain it while outside fasting. So, victory is only for those who celebrate, worship and increase charity during the month of fasting.

Often we hear in the community that Eid al-Fitr is back to being holy. Interpreting that Eid means we are pure, clean from all sins, and we are back like a newborn baby.
