Making a booklet using HVS A4 paper

The task of making a booklet about the natural features of this island is a class 4 natural and social science subject and I as a parent must be able to guide children to make this assignment. And to be honest, this is my first time making a booklet just as I made Herbarium for the first time too.

Characteristics of the booklet :

A small, thin book half a quarto A4 or F4 like the one I made for my son, folded in half. The booklet contains information about something and there are writings and pictures. The appearance of the booklet in the form of pictures with attractive colors makes people interested in seeing the information in the booklet.

Making a booklet is very clear to make it easier for us to inform or promote something. So, books and booklets are very different. A booklet is a small book that functions as a leaflet. while the book is a collection of paper or other materials bound together at one end and contains writing or pictures.

How to make a booklet

Many types of objects or paper that can be made to make a booklet. For a child's assignment, I made it on F4 paper.

1. Prepare the paper to be made into a booklet.

2. The paper is divided into 2 or 4 parts according to the size of the booklet you want to make.

3. Punch a hole in the paper waist with a Perforator or a paper punch tool

4. Fill in or write down the various information you want to share in the booklet. My son's assignment is about the appearance of nature. I am looking for information on the internet about nature that I want to explain. Such as beaches, rivers, mountains and lakes on one of the islands in Indonesia.

5. Print a picture of the nature that is told and I paste it and under the picture I write a description of the picture.

6. The last step, I bound this booklet using nylon thread or mattress thread according to the task given by my child's teacher. I sew with a large needle.

7. The booklet is ready to use
