Indonesia's 77th national teacher's day celebration

The year of teachers of the Republic of Indonesia is again celebrating their birthday and Indonesian teachers who are members of the Republika Indonesia teachers' association have reached 77. The same age as our country, Indonesia.

Every November 25, Indonesian teachers celebrate their big day and the theme for celebrating the birthday of this knowing teacher is that the government's research and technology education office carries the theme "simultaneously innovating, creating independent learning".

Innovating is flexibility in responding or dealing with certain conditions, harmonizing text and context without leaving the essence. Based on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology) regarding Guidelines for Implementing Teacher Birthdays in 2022, the theme raised is "Innovating Simultaneously, Realizing Free Learning".

History of Indonesian national teacher's day 25 november

The history of National Teacher's Day November 25 begins with the government's tribute in the era of Indonesia's 2nd President Suharto to the Indonesian Teachers Association.

In 1912, before becoming the Association of Teachers of the Republic of Indonesia, it was formerly called the Association of Teachers of the Netherlands Indies.

Then it changed its name again to the Indonesian Teachers' Association as a result of the issuance of a government regulation regarding the union of civil servants in 1993.

Then one hundred days after the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the Association of Teachers of the Republic of Indonesia was established.

Because of this, the age of teachers' day is the same as the independence day of the Republic of Indonesia.
